I have had a call the last 3 days with the phone number 631-274-1347 from an officer(do not know his name because his accent is so thick) stating he is from the department of foreign investigators and that he has downloaded sopeona from court and that it is the utmost importance that i call him back. And since i have not called him back that i am running from them and that this case will not go away and i must face the concequences of my actions! It is pretty funny in a way but irritating that they got my cell phone number somehow! I will be reporting them today!

O my God! I got calls from this same number, sounds like an Indian/black guy mix.

I thought it actually was law enforcement of some type only because I had given a complaint to the FBI a  few weeks back about these types of calls. Until I called the number back and it kept ringing and the mailbox that wouldnt come on until 15 rings (literally) finally said it was full.

I'm going to report it as well. Don't know what the guy wants but he is clearly not FBI. And FBI for me would be out of Boston field office not Deer Park NY where the call is coming from.

I received calls from them too teling me they will report me, send the cops to my home and to my work.  they said I will be in big legal trouble . it is a scam.  they also somehow called me from a number that comes up as 911 on my phone. I need to figure out how to report them, they have called me 4 times in 1 hour.

He left a voicemail, broken engilish and reception. I kept trying to call to figure out what it was about and the receptioni on the other line was terrible. After a few attempts I was already annoyed. Since I stay on top of my stuff I was leery from the start. Just in converation i said "you cant send me information, you dont know my information, this sounds like fraud" and bam they hung up. I called back he said that I would believe after i got a supeana. I tried to reason with the guy so i could find out what the hell he was talking about. When he finally said that it was for a Pay-Day loan i told him that i have never had one of these in my life. Once i said that - at 4:18pm, he told me I would have to call back because he was going on break... yea

I called him back an hour later alright- as soon as he answered I took an Air Horn to the phone - ^-^  oo sweet payback

I ahve had these calls and its really irritating because they call 5 -20 times a day leaving the same messages that I will go to jail and have my attorney call. I have talked to a few people to in order to stop the calls and nothing

Claims to be debt collector from payday loan that I did NOT have.  Threatening messages asking for attorney info. and saying "God Bless You and Good Luck".  Speak VERY broken English.  Gives American/English name with STRONG middle-eastern accent.  ie: Officer Mark Reneiecen, Aaron Thompson, Mike Davis, Michael Davis, Shane Harris, Shaun Harris, John Adams, John Rogers, Eric Williams .  Threatening jail time,  ?a bad situation unfolds?, court fees.  Sometimes claims to be from "All American Financial" or "Federal Dept. of Justice."  Claims to "download" a subpoena..arrest warrant...law suit..going to arrest me at work...meet me at courthouse...must have my "retained attorney of record" call as soon as possible. Sometimes has the nerve to say ?God Bless You? or ?Good Luck?.  HILARIOUS considering I actually work for the state level Justice Cabinet! Sometimes claims to be representing CashNetUSA or CashUSA.Net. I called CashNetUSA and they stated that this was a scam.  They have NO information on me whatsoever. Call cell, place of business..and anyone you may have listed as a reference on an online payday loan or anything else....from years ago! Gave him the # to my attorney....the Better Business Bureau....became irate. Also give number to local police fraud division as attorney?s number.   Using female ?Kim Stewart from Jaffe and Jaffe Law Firm? claims to have sent legal documents to a gmail account.  So silly! Officer Chris Williams from law firm of "Cyber Crime Unit".  States supervisor will be arrested and interrogated as well!!

Have filed/reported complaint with State Attorney General's Office, IC3, Credit.com, this website, numerous other scam alert websites and anyone else who will listen, it is actually VERY comical now.  My co-workers and I enjoy listening to the voice messages or "playing along" with their script.  "We will arrest you at work." where do I work?"  "You know where you work."  Complete IDIOTS!!

Has now started sending ridiculous emails to a rarely used gmail account. States to call 408-663-9405 if I don't want to go to jail, but that I'm going to jail because I won't pay.  Horrible, broken english.  Obviously a botched attempt at a form letter/email.

I have been receiving these calls from two different numbers. Both callers have stated the same info telling me that i took out a payday loan and did not pay it back. I have NOT taken any loans out! I contacted the "attorney generals" office on both of these numbers, and was told directly that this is a scam and to not give any information about yourself to these people. They have obtained your info from a web source and are using it to try and scare people out of their money. The secretary at the attorney generals office instructed me to file a complaint with the better business burea, and to also put a "FRAUD ALERT" on your credit report. It doesnt cost anything, last for 90 days and they will contact you if anything shows up that is suspicious on your credit.
