Soemone called from the same number 631-668-9951 and says he is from Tech Services (he didn't sound Indian though) and that my computer is causing issues to their server and wants to fix. He also said he got my telephone number from my IP address. When I asked what is my IP address, he said it is encooded (actually he said decoded) and that he can't tell it. He read out my CLS ID and asked to verify by opening command prompt and type in "assoc" command. I realized is not unique to my PC. I said I am not interested and hung up.

Please beware of these scammers !

Says they are Tech Services and there is an error on my PC which is bull since I build and maintain all my PC's and I told them as much and hung up. They had the gall to call back immediately from an unknown number and try the same scam.

They have called several times and claim that my computer is sending their server a Error Message. They claim to be from a company called Technical Support 24 x 7 and that they have been hired by Google. They want to remote access my computer to show me error messages. Then they want to sell me the "Fix" for $49.9 for each computer affected. I have good Secutriy Software and No Registry issues in the computers. This is highly suspicious!!!
I am reporting this to Google & Yahoo and the Govm't.

This is bad PR for Yellowbook. The message says they need to talk to you about an existing account.  Of course, we have no account.  I  am reporting Yellowbook to the BBB.

Just got another call from them.  Just answer the phone, and promptly hang up.  That way they have to pay for the call.  It seems to work against other telemarketers---fewer of their calls!

some foreign guy called and could't pronounce my name, when i asked him what is the call about, he hung up. I tried to call his number several times but a fake recording came on saying this number is not in service. The recording was not from Telephone company for sure and I know they were faking it as a legit announcement.

a foreign accent tries to ask something about "microsoft" and then gets cut off

typical telemarketing pause - then a foreign accent tries to pronounce my husband's name.  I ask who this is- he tries to say my hubby's name again.  I again ask who this is and he hangs up.  I'd love to know who these guys are. We are on the "do not call" list.

Called office; heard "Hi this is Sharon..." hung up.  Will be picked up and hung up on from now on.

This is a "we can place you on the front page of google"  they drop the call the second they realize you will not play ball with them.  

when you call the number back you get a "recorded message" of the guy who is trying to pretend he is the phone company but is actually just him trying to get you to hang up.

THIS IS A SCAM  if it was real they would not not go to these lenghts to hide.

Another annoying recorded message.   The number on the caller ID will be blocked -- last time they will bother us!

They call this number very very often sometimes 2x aday.

missed call from this number.  they left a pre-recorded message, but it was cut off...something about "google advertising" for business. they did not identify the name of their business.
