I have a pre-paid cell phone.  Said they were calling  (my name) to get a referral for a Peggy Jones.  Told them I didn't know who that was.  Called back later in the day and the person answered, "processing," but did not give name. Told them I was calling to find out how they got my number.  They said this was a pre-legal process and that they obviously got the wrong number (even though they had my real name).  Called later in the evening, no answer, no voice mail, no recordings.

Picked up a prepaid cell phone as a temporary second phone for me and my wife. Started receiving calls from this number and 631 755 3088 last week.

Wow stupid people call themselves Pre paralegal verifications said I have to call Sarah Levy or John Stevenson at this 888 number due to the county I live in for a legal matter and have to call by 3:30 this evening? Pretty dumb and convincing had me fooled until I looked up and check the numbers. Scammers

Got a call saying I need to call back by 7:00 or they are going to process some legal matter.  Called back and never got an answer.

Called and left a message claiming it was the Legal Verification Department, and that if I don't call back before 7pm something horrible might happen. There are only 3 things on my credit and they are already being taken care of. This company is a bunch of scammers. Refused to provide address or any means to let me file a complaint for their illegal actions.

Rober Mason is a crook and posing as a licensed attorney when he is not.  PayStar has fradulantly made reports to my credit bureau and ruined my credit score rating. Don't fall for this scam! They will ruin your life. I am going to do everything in my power to see to it that Robert Mason goes to prison, including filing suit against him if I have to.

Ok, so these fools are calling my mother's house looking for me... My first name is ambiguous and they are asking for a Ms. ----... ok, so my mother tells them "I cannot help you with info on a Ms. --- "  because I am very much a man.  

Problem is, I have not lived at home in over 14 years and have NEVER lived in the house my mother currently owns and lives in.  I own a home of my own, in another state, another time zone.  Do they think they are going to find me?  They are mistaken!

They call private#, left a message, didn't even say my 1st and last name! About tackin action in sum legal matters! I google the number and yall popped up...thks! The # was 18773097617 to call a Robert Mason! Ha! Tell Robert Mason to call me himself!

It is a collection agency. My ex-wife has been fighting this credit card deal for years, and they keep selling her "debt" it from one agency to another and trying to collect.

This guy called my cell and claimed some sort of legal matter, and that I and was listed by my wife as a main contact, and they wished to contact her.

1) We are divorced, so F Off. I know where to find her, but I'm not telling them!
2) I was never listed on anything as a contact (liars)
3) This is a fairly new phone number which didn't exist at the time of the alleged debt (liars). I'm sure some punk kid who thinks he knows it all simply Googled my last name, in my area, and found my cell phone listed on my business website.

So, simply - it is a collection agency using standard collection agency lies. All of which are illegal by the way. But our government is to busy pushing health care down our throats to stop the illegal and abusive practices of collection agencies.

I think we are at about 10 collection agencies so far. None have been able to collect (haha). This might have something to do with the fact she actually doesn't owe anything...

When called back, they refuse to give their mailing address (so a complaint could be filed against them), as well as explain who they are or what their company is, other than stating "There is a legal matter, they will try to collect money from you in court, etc". Yeah, good luck with that.

I just called and was told to file a complaint for the Consumer Fraud Dept of Suffolk County.

Got a call from 631-755-3087 at 7:08 AM from a Kevin Foster stating there was a law suit pending and that I had to call 1-877-309-7617 and talk to a Robert Mason.  At no time did Kevin Foster or Robert Mason identify the company they work for when asked to do so.  Robert Mason stated it was in reference to a supposed debt with Providian Credit.  I was sued in this matter by a collection agency known as CACHE. Prior to the court hearing and following submission of documentation by my attorney, CACHE dropped the case.  Now we are back at it again.  My guess is this is another CACHE collection agency.

There are very prominent matters that this company violated in reference to the Fair Credit Debt Collection Act.  1 - they called me before 8:00 AM; 2 - they did not identify themselves in the voicemail or when I returned the call; 3 - they used the threat of lawsuit in their voicemail;  In addition, even if I did own the money, which I don't, the statute of limitations on the debt has passed. I'm looking forward to fighting this one in court.

I got a call from this number. They said it was a pre civil legal matter...and for me to call before 4pm to stop the processing of the paperwork?? Oops. I guess I missed the deadline.

Got a call from these ..er.. people - they left a voicemail in which they claimed to have sent out details of a "stimulus package" that we supposedly qualified for. We're supposed to call an 877 number and quote our stimulus package number. Yeah, right. I've been out of work for ages, we're facing eviction if we can't find some way to pay the rent, and to cap it all we have to put up with garbage like this.

I got a call, Nationwide Processing, said I need to call a person to let them know that they are going to precess paperwork for legal matters, I told him to call the attorney for the person, the nut from NY said, this call is for you. And then hung up. I would hope that I could put my hands around their neck.

Received a phone call at 8:30am. Lady on the phone asked for a Vanessa something. When I said "You have a wrong number," she then asked for my fiance by full name. She said that Vanessa had listed Byron as a first contact, with his address, with regards to a complaint filed against him. The lady stated that he needed to call Porter and Martin at an 866 number.

Caller ID said it was Nationwide Processing. Called number back and got a guy who stated that they were known as United Processing. They process paperwork for legal matters. (Ok, sure).

Porter and Martin are saying that they are calling in reference to an old debt, something from over 6 years ago. We talked with someone at Porter and Martin about the debt, but it seems very suspicious. I tried to look up the company on the internet and I am not getting any hits. I dont know what to believe.
