They also use the # 636-373-9659.  I just called the 800-864-8601 to be put on do not call list.  Will see if it works.  They call for several days, leave no message, then it stops for a while, then starts up again.  I have never answered it do to no caller ID.  

They called, I didn't answer.. After reading a few of these posts I thought I'd call them back to see what they'd say..
The recording says they are a research company and ask only about their clients products..Also because they aren't a telemarketer
The "Do Not Call List" does not apply to them.. And can call anyone and are not breaking any laws...

i just got a call from 6362037123 dont know who this is i block the number,i get calls all day from scammers i called my phone company about change my number.but the scam can still get yur number ,so i am blocking ea number  that i dont know ,its a ashamed scam go after people ,why dont they get a real job.

I just read on Face Book that we all need to do this-Pick up the phone and before they have a chance to say one word whisper "The deed is done, but there is blood all over the place!" and hang up. Bet they don't call us back then!!!

I was busy & my hubby answered the phone this number 636-203-7123 asked for me by name he said can he take a msg & the person replied yes im calling from Key Bank which is my bank I said what my bank is closed & they never call me i call the number back to see what it is & its a Maritz Survey wtf how do they know who i bank with & my name im definitely reporting this!!!!

I just got a call from "maritz research" last night and they wanted my hubby to take a survey regarding our last phone call with our auto finance company. I'm upset that my finance company would freely share my number. I'm going to have to call them and put an end to that.

I totaly agree about Gran. I have noticed over the years that the scammers will quiet often "seed" remarks trying to make the scammer(s) anything BUT scammer(s). It is best to just ignore, do not answer or put them on a "blocked" list on your home phone because that only confirms that the number they have for you is indeed "hot".

They call all hours on different days and never leave a message.

After getting 2 calls and no message left, I answered the 3rd call they asked for the name of the person that was in charge of her fathers account at key bank, not thinking clear I told them her name, so now we are in trouble, right? They said they would call her back today at 9am and did not.    

My cid says "maritz research" too. I dont answer any call unless i know the person.

Ive never had any dealings with capital one either. This number calls me every day. I am also on the do not call registry. Pisses me off.

Have had several calls from this number recently, they don't leave a vm.  I answered today and it is a Survey Company for the Bank I recently opened an account with.

I got called from 636-203-7123, and she told me she is from Bank of America, and like to ask me few question about if I am happy about the bank.  I told her NO,

Maritz Research is just another shameless bunch of scam artist fraudsters and devil worshipers. They use a variety of phony computer generated numbers and tie-lines, including 571-431-1960, under the guise of conducting surveys.  I called several Northern Virginia businesses that Maritz alleged to represent and they adamantly deny hiring them.  The number is traceable to Maritz Research, supposedly headquartered at 1375 or 1395 or 1400 N. Highway Dr., in Fenton, MO 63099. Main numbers there are (636) 827-4000 or toll free (877) 462-7489. They are a big pain and very unprofessional with persistent calls weekdays and weekends.  If they are legitimate and actually hired by a business to take a survey on customer satisfaction, and if no answer when they call, then the least they can do is join the human race and leave a message saying "This is Maritz Research, PLEASE call us back for an important survey, as your views are needed, and we are not selling anything."  A pox on them.

Suffice to say, in my household, no one answers calls that are unfamiliar names or numbers, or when the Caller Id shows no name, or Private, Blocked, Unavailable, Out of State, etc.This is why everyone must contact their elected reps in DC to demand that they significantly strengthen the DNC laws, providing extremely severe dollar and prison sentences for violators.  This is an opportunity for Congress to actually do something useful for the country, not just pass gas and throw spitballs at each other.  Any business must be properly identified on Caller Id, not hide behind Not Available, Private, Unavailable, etc.  It is time to ban any kind of solicitation call, whether charitable, political, survey, opinion poll, telemarketer, debt collector or whatever.  You can be assured that funds donated or offered over the phone will mostly go into the pockets of the organizers, not to the charity, along with a $10 donation showing up as $100s in charges.  There must be a new scam and fraud being generated every second out there. We are being overwhelmed by all of these nonsense telephone calls, another form of terrorism.  They all need to be locked up. We need call control, not gun control!

Called purporting to be from Bank of America, and wanted to know if I wanted to participate in a Customer Satisfaction Survey.  I told them I didn't know what time it was where they were calling from, but that it was 5:22 p.m. here, I'd just gotten home from work, it was cold as hell outside, and I'd just gotten into my house robe, and I really thought Customer Satisfaction would not be served by asking me at this time.  I told my daughter about it, and she suggested it was probably a "phishing" call.  Seeing that this same number has been used for other scams, I presume she was correct.

They said they were calling from TD Ameritrade to do a survey from an account I opened.. but wanted my account number??  Didn't give them... wont talk to them again.

Just received a call from this number at work (which is a church). It showed up as "Maritz Research". No one said anything when I answered. As I was getting ready to hang up, someone started to say something, but I went ahead and hung up.

Watch out.  Gran could be part of the scam.

USA is the most corrupt and scam-ridden country. I'd love to beat these pigs.

Thise number called claiming to be from Capital One. The man was claiming that someone was making a fraudulent claim using my card. When I asked for further information the man said he couldn't give me any information. I advised the man that if someone is trying to say they are me then I have every right to know any and all information. The man started dancing around my questions and then hung up on me.

I have no business with capital one. But started getting calls from this number after I started a job search and posted a resume with various personal information on job search sites. My guess is this conniving group is harvesting numbers. I plan to report the frauds to state and federal authorities.

I have been getting calls regularly from this company.  I have no dealings with Capital One.  I found this on their website :  http://www.maritzresearch.com/reviewstudy2013.aspx .  I have filled out surveys rating products or services on various websites, such as yelp and Amazon, including some recently.  I am not sure if that is what this is about.  I still prefer not to talk to them.

that's funny gran, i just got a call from them last night and i have NOT spoken with capital one.....

This is the second time in a week I've got a call from this number with no msg, it started after I placed a couple of on-line Christmas orders. Someone apparently made a little extra money off of me. I don't want anymore calls from them.
