I get DAILY calls from this and other numbers, claiming to be "US Auto Care".  I am the do not call list, plus I have been telling them for over two months to QUIT calling me.  I wouldn't answer it, but I listen to music on my cell via ear buds, so my phone answers on the third ring.  I am not a foul mouth, but it is now a game in my office to whether or not I lay the wood to them.  My bosses are very impressed with the calm way I tell the yahoos to take me off their lists.  It doesn't do any good, they call back.  The callers are not "native" American English speakers, probably they are from India.  I add each new number to my cell's reject list and they use a another number.  Other numbers they use include 856-295-5565, 321-403-4129, 512-379-2069,971-208-9936, 212-777-3456, 687-213-9459, 305-775-5429, 636-373-9464, 618-259-1869 and 347-329-4437

I love Enterprise. I rent from them every weekend. I used to rent from Hertz but once I went to Enterprise I won't be going back to Hertz. I love my Enterprise.

OMG, people. This site won't be helpful if you guys just SPECULATE who the number belongs too! It's a survey company and they are called to ask about the customer service you received from someone you've done business with. They are not restricted by the DO NOT CALL list.

Actually - it depends on who it is. The law does NOT protect your line if you've provided your number to a company you have business with, and their affiliates. Most people don't read that fine print when they fill out forms or give away their info., or understand how the law really works. For instance - let's say you rent a car, or sign up for a store card somewhere. Unless you have explicitly stated on that form that you do NOT want them to contact you, they can. That store/business then has every right to contact you, even if you're on the DNC list - for promotional purposes, to tell you about new products, for surveys they do for input on their services, etc. Some companies by courtesy do place limitations on what you agree to allow them to do by stating it explicitly (ie: "contact for the purpose of ______"), but not all of them do. The best you can do in those cases - where the call is legitimate and coming from a company you've given your info. to willingly - and/or their parent-companies, subsidiaries, etc. - is to tell them to take your number from their listing. If you've done that and they still call, THEN there are legal issues with solicitation and harassment. The DNC list does NOT make you impervious to all calls across the board - that's a very common misconception.

I got this call twice. Didn't answer. They left no message.
I have rented from Enterprise recently- liked the service. Why don't they leave a message? I'd be happy to answer their survey but I won't answer a call I don't recognize.

Thanks for the information. I just rented a car from enterprise rental car. I turned it in 2 days ago. I just got a call today. I did not answer the phone because I did not recognize the number.

Its not a bill collector. I don't have past due bills. But I did have a rental car from Enterprise recently after a car accident. That makes more sense. DNC rules exempt businesses you have a prior business relationship with. Until you ask to be added to their internal DNC list. Then they can't call legally either.

Said "Hello" but no one responded.  Heard voices in the background.  I hung up.

Later I called the number back and heard a message that this is a legitimate Survey company.  Chances are, they were doing a survey on the Enterprise rental I did recently.  

Definitely Enterprise Rent a Car. I rented two cars last month from Enterprise.

My number is on the do not call list, they are violating federal law.  It doesn't matter if it is an auto dailer, the law requires them not to call people on the list.  My number has been on the list for 4-6 years now.

I recently rented a car also. Why not leave a message. I was happy with my service, glad to tell them that.

It is just a customer satisfaction survey from Enterprise Rent A Car. Not a random surveyor.
