Global Crossing Local Services, Inc is a reseller of Internet and phone services.  They "give away" free internet IP phone numbers and provide SIP Trunk services, which means people in foriegn lands can use the internet to contact the trunk and then place local US Calls.  To stop this madness, send an email to ABUSE@LEVEL3.com, the parent company of Global Crossing Local Services.  Also, send an email to the CEO Jim Crowe at jim.crowe@level3.com  Global is just the CLEC provider and not the company making the harrasing calls.  Unscrupulous people try and use these "disposable" numbers to defraud you and it's hard to get one shut down.  If you do shut them down on that number, they just obtain another number and continue right on...

Mike Orlando does not take kindly to farting in the phone,or handing his rude butt to a 3 year old who has been told Dora is on the other end.In short Mike we enjoy your calls don't be a stranger darling.

The number comes up on caller Id as Career Learning Center or CI Services, or 800 Services. Been getting calls from these numbers for the last 3 days. I haven't picked up for them, but numbers are from California, and Mo.  (617-245-9609) and (626-551-3310)

We have experienced the exact situation with Mike Orlando calling from 800-403-7780 His is calling our business, harassing and threatening our employees, and guests.  He is also calling our rooming house and harassing the guests there. We have lost so much business because of him. He will not stop calling.  He informed our business manager when she requested him not to call anymore that she needed to get a lawyer and that he would not stop calling. He has called all over our community and questioned people we don?t even know.  He told my husband if he didn?t give him the information he wanted that he would call every hotel and restaurant in the area and interrogate them about us. He will not give us the name of his company or address.  He insisted we give him our bank name and account number and make a check by mail.  It was very strange that when I called them back (several times) to get the name of the company and a mailing address I was told by his ?supervisor? Shane Nash that our account has been closed and to stop calling them. We don?t even have an account with them!  Mike Orlando even called our local law enforcement and told them that I was harassing him. Can you believe that?

After reading all the submissions on this page, I'll not be picking up the phone and talking with (or to) these idiots (not that I was considering doing so in the first place anyway).  I've received about 4 calls in the past 5 days from the # (636) 634-2864 which is listed from WhitePages.com as;

I always get an automated message, the beginning portion of which is cut off (as the message seems to start mid-sentence), and the closing portion asks me to reference a file # that it never gives (calling service hangs up before reference # is given).

As a rule, I never respond to or answer automated calls.  I only respond to a human caller who clearly states who they are (or represent) and gives all pertinent information clearly (and possibly repeats it for purposes of clarification).  They MUST follow up with a letter of intent printed on valid company stationary and mailed via US Mail.  If only one or the other (or possibly neither) of these conditions are met, they'll never hear from me.  EVER.

i received a familiar phone call as well,but from a mike jones, stating that i owed on a vehicle way back in 01,which by law he is way past over due (3yrs to collect) so DON NOT GIVE THIS OR THESE A##HOLES YOU INFO!!

Received call from "Brian Evans" on my cell phone.  My cell phone message does not use my name.  He asked for my name to which I said no.  He then said I was lying.  I hung up.  Can't wait to see if he calls back.

got a call from caller id CCS 636-634-2863. he would not confirm collection agency or not, but from the names he asked for, i know it's collections.  the guy told me i catch more flies w/ honey that w/ vinegar when i told him i've had my phone # for 2 1/2 years and he used skip tracers to get it.  he told me he'd remove it and "guaranteed" i won't get calls back from them.  he hung up before i got a name.

If you do a reverse look up in whitepages.com this is what comes up, Global Crossing Local Servcies, Inc. I am glad to have found this site with all these comments. Although I have never pick up on any of thier calls, glad that I also never responded to them too. Best thing to do unless you have a relative that lives long distance, but does not carry any familiar long distant area code, don't pick up.  That's what I do. So far 2 out of 3 of these dirt bag companies have stopped calling.

I receive the same calls but from a Jack Wesley very rude and nasty and says anything to you. He thinks people do not know the laws in fact everything he says is breaking the laws, He keeps calling my job threatens to garnish my pay check yells at me then hangs up in your face. Something needs to be done about him. What a as*hole.

This guy is a grade-a a***ole. His name is Mike Orlando ... he will threaten to sue you right off the bat unless you pay a huge bulk payment of what you originally owed.

In one phone call, he broke 4 laws set forth in the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act:

1. He threatened to begin calling my work. After I told him this was illegal he said he didn't know where I was getting my information and that I should talk to a lawyer about this.
2. I told him I would no longer speak to him over the phone and to only contact me via US mail. He refused, saying he only did business over the phone. THIS IS ILLEGAL.
3. He threatened to garnish my wages. THIS IS ILLEGAL WITHOUT HIM WINNING IN COURT FIRST.
4. He threatened that if I did not pay up, he would try to get me to sell my car to pay off the debt, or take my home's equity. THIS IS ILLEGAL.

He was VERY lucky I was not recording the conversation with him. He will be calm and not use profanity towards you, but do not be deceived. This is a GRADE A, SLIMY SCAMMER WHO WILL DO EVERYTHING HE CAN TO INTIMIDATE YOU INTO PAYING.

Do NOT let him get to you. RECORD YOUR CONVERSATION and the money he will owe you from his multiple infractions of the FDCPA will more than pay off your debt, and hopefully get him fired.

This is a collection agenct called Central Credit Services. They like to call from all sorts of numbers in the 636 area code including the following:

It's always a csr asking you to call back someone else at an 800 number regarding a case number that they provide.

This person, named Mike Orlando, is a debt collector!

No Doubt!  This is a collection agency and called Mike Orlando's Office.  The associated 800 no. is 800-403-7780.  The so-named Mike Orlando is just a jack-a**, arrogant and un-polite debt collector.

This NUMBER is a collection agency. I played along with them until i could not take it any further, They have several people calling and front the call with a 1-800/1-888 #. As a seasoned recruiter i used their tactics against them. This is certainly a company i would not want representing my affairs and after thier embarrasment and pleasantries exchanged I told them to certainly remove my number from thier call files.

they left a message to someone I have never heard of.  (wrong number, perhaps).  It was a super time sensitive issue apparently, lol.  Too bad for the "Delorus", I guess.
