this phone number came as an email

Dear Credit Union customer,

We regret to inform you that we have received numerous fraudulent
emails which ask for personal
account information. The emails contained links to fraudulent pages
that looked legit.

Please remember that we will never ask for personal account information
via email or web pages.

Because of this we are launching a new security system to make Credit
Union accounts more secure
and safe. To take advatage of our new consumer Identity Theft
Protection Program we had to
deactivate access to your card account.

To activate it please call us immediately at (641) 665-5660

Activation is free of charge and will take place as soon as you finish
the activation process.

I got an e-mail with the same message- I Goggled it and here I am.

I got the same scam via email with the same phone number.

I didnt receive a call but i did get an email:

Dear Bay Bank & Trust Co. Customer,

 We detected irregular activity on your ATM/Check Card  on 1/17/2008.

 For your protection we have had to suspend any future authorizations
 being conducted with your Bay Bank & Trust Co. ATM/Check Card.

 For your security we have deactivate your card.

first you get an email saying that fraud has been commited on you credit card and when you call this number you have to put in your credit card number, your pin nu,ber and your social security number.
