This phone number was stolen from us today and used by a telemarketing firm to robo call 1,000s of people.

No message left from this number. Caller ID says "Hancock Cty Mem" - probably spoofed to make us think it was from a hospital (Hancock County Memorial Hospital??)  in Ohio wo that we would answer it. We're in Colorado, so we obviously didn't answer

I would believe Verizon and other phone companies who say they don't give #'s out. Really all it takes is area codes,  + that area codes prefixes, and some not to hard to program dialer software and you can have it "TRYING" theoretical numbers all day long. Eventually they will hit paydirt and ring ring all your private, cell, do not call listed numbers receive a call from 641-843-5236. That's why someone came on the line eventually (from India, in the one guys experience) after he was connected. Sounds like they could have done a better job on the programming cause they seem to be dropping many calls (potential marks) and losing the opportunity to sell (scam) all you good people (assumption, your probably all republicans and dirty hippies) this epic opportunity (every penny squeezed from your account) to lower your rates. So as I have some spare time (drug addict with compromised ethics and morals who has become too lazy to contribute beneficially to society) and the proper knowledge (scary huh) to clean up the dialer and catch those potential rate savers and save their finances go ahead and hit me up.

Yeah my caller id said britt iowa, before I checked anything cuz ik people in iowa to, I had just woke up so I tried calling back and it said I needed to change my privacy settings to call them

Tired of these phone calls.....what can be done about it?  I am also on the Do Not Call List.  Wish they would stop wasting my time.

The thing that I don't like is they called my cell, not my land line! Didn't answer but appreciate the input here. Verizon swears they don't give #"s out!

Received a call on my unlisted cell phone from 641-843-5236. I did not answer and no message was left. My number is also on the Do Not Call registry.

Recorded robocall soliciting credit card info. Almost certainly a scam, since they call people who don't even have credit cards... lol

641-843-5236 Just called  and waited a few moments to hang up after I said "hello" twice.

I just received a call from this number on my personal cell phone number, a number that is unlisted.  My caller ID read that it was in Britt, Iowa.  I know some people in Iowa and I thought it might have been those folks.  So, I answered.  When I picked up, it turned out to be a prerecorded message from "Account Services" about lowering my credit card interest rates.  I was connected with an Indian man who told me he was calling about lowering the interest rates on my credit cards.  I got very firm with the man and I told him that I was going to save him some time and that I knew he was scamming me.  I hung up on him and he did not call back.
