This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

But FEDEX personnel notified me that this is a scam.

Got the same phone call from the very same person. When he first started harassing me I paid fifty dollars and didn't realize that this was a scam, because I do have payday loans that I am currently paying on time ever month today he called and I asked him bout the loan information he got mad and when I told him that I wasn't going to give him the money he played it off as if he was calling my job to get me fired so I played it off and was like OK I will get the money today I called my job and talked to my manager she said she didn't received a call so I typed in the number on Google and found this page I then reported him to t FTC and also I called my card company and got a new card. Do not panic like I did and fall for his crap just report him to FTC and do not answer just phone calls again. Hope this helps

Got a phone call from officer Kevin Smith. Exactly the same treatment as above. Trying to get me to part with $500 over the phone for something I didn't owe. Was very rude with me and threatened me with arrest and legal action. I told him that I had no proof that he worked for the Federal Crime Department and laughed at him before hanging up. He then phoned back 3 times in a threatening manner. Absolute scum!

I got a call from 901-202-9909 a officer kevin smith yesterday saying i owe a loan for 6,000 and that i had to pay the courts and legal fees threating me if i didnt pay i admit i was so mad i couldnt function but when i found out it was a scam i cntacted my social security office and got it tooken care of.

I got a call from the same people claiing to be from the office of Kevin Smith. Best thign I can recommend is to report them and all the info you can get on them to the FTC.  The FTC turns it over to the people to follow up and prosecute. The more info we can give them the better luck they will have.

A man named Officer John Marsh continues to call my job threating me saying hes going to have me put me jail. He asked to speak to my boss. Then he called back and said his name was Frank Spencer and that he was my boy friend to try and get me on the phone. He cusses at the employees I work with and myself. Please dont fall for this scam.

Got the same calls and threats. Get a lawyer like I did and and records phone calls like I did. I never got  payday loan and was a victimof ID theft. The name he gave my was Sam Daniel.

I am getting serious harrassment call from a Officer Matthew Brown (who is some thick accented foreign national from India) threatening me and somehow knows even my work number and company name and stating that he is going to get me fired and I am going to suffer the worse possible life if I do not comply with some criminal case with my social security number. F'in arsshole!

tonight,when i came to work i found someone left me a message to call back from financial crimes investigation, first i didn't understood because i never a financial problem ,second to be call by financial crimes investigation it was very strange to me ,than  i decided to check who is this officer......

Calling for an employee who doesn't work in the office.  Employee had gone online to see about a payday loan but did not accept it.  Now they call from this and 3 other numbers about once or twice a week despite repeatedly telling them this person is not in the office and please put us on your do not call list.  But today, it was special.  Not only did I start by telling him this person is not in the office he then proceeds to yell at me that I had to take the message and I better make sure he calls back.  I said no and hung up - he called back.  Tons of swearing and telling me I'm a stupid American, I'm a big black bi*** (I'm a little white girl from Wisconsin - too funny!) and tons of sexual references.  Super heavy Indian accent but name of Matthew Brown - with the financial crimes division.  Can't they get in trouble for this stuff?   I am sending in my consumer complaint to my State Ag. Department.  They are supposedly turned into the FBI also, but we'll see.

I just received a phone call from a John Wright and was demanding money from me for a Payday loan I have never heard fromand when I questioned him about it he told me he was going to contact my employer and have me arrested. He is wanting 250.00 off of my debit card and wants me to send my information and my drivers license. Please help me out and get these people who are harassing people. I just received a threatening call from 646-434-9909 NY state and I spoke to a guy with a broken accent who claimed his name was John Wright.  Thank you all for posting this scam because I looked this up before I called him back.  He threatened to call the cops on me and to call my employer to get me fired.  I basically laughed in his face! Something needs to be done about this because these people are crooks.

I got the call from these sick people today. He said he was officer neil mckenzie and that I need to call him back for some internet payday loan that just like everyone else I didn't pay back.  When he calleds me at work he told me his whole speal and told me no swearing lol.  He said he was going to have me arrested if I did not pay today.  I said ok I will drive to the pd so they can talk to you.  He told me to go f**k myself. I said hey thought u said no swearing lol he got mad and hung up.  He then proceeded to call my job 57 times after that. His numbers that came up was from new york, new york and when I called back it said the voice mailbox was full goodbye. These rotten scum bags need to be STOPPED. The number that came up was 646-918-0991. He told me to call him back at 646-727-4981. Or 646-927-4981 not sure, I'm not that great at understanding scum! If anyone know who to call I would love toto have that info. I will be contacting a bunch of people tomorrow to see what kind of info I can get.

I just got a call from an Officer Sam Daniels. I had $500 taken out of my bank account and it was refunded last week. This officer calls to tell me that they are now pressing charges against me for theft, and I can pay the money back or be arrested. They called my job, and keep calling. It is a scam, so don't believe it! I just want to know who it is so I can press charges.

LOL yeah i just got a call from  a Officer Dan Daniels of Financial investigation I was going to call it back but something told me to check it out. So i put the number in google and boom here I am. Thanks for the warning of this Criminal. I really appreciate the people who are willing to write these things. I know i have some debt but not enough to have an Officer call me.. I just received a call from a man claiming to be Office Kevin Smith with the U.S. Financial Crime and Investigations Department. He is claiming I owe U.S. Fast Cash Internationl $425.00. He threatened me with arrest, or I could settle out of court for $425.00 or go to court and pay $5000.00. He said I broke 3 laws. 1. Federal Banking Regulations. 2. Check Fraud, 3 Theft by deception. He gave me a case number of AL7014521. He kept covering up the mouth piece of the phone and then I would hear more people in the background talking. He had a very heavy accent and was hard to understand. I laughed at him and said I didn't owe U.S. Fast Cash International any money as it was already paid and that I wasn't going to pay it. He hung up on me. GET RID OF THESE PARASITES PRYING ON INNOCENT PEOPLE. This is the second type of call I have received this week alone. That doesn't count the ones I fell for in January and ending up paying out over $2,311.00 because I believed them until I started checking out the phone numbers that were calling me.

I have only had 1 loan in my life and that was for my car!!! never a payday loan or anything! so do not verify any information with these people its such a scam!! does anyone know how to legally report them?
