They call from this "blocked name" every day and the phone rings more than 10 times. I do not pick up the phone if there is no ID.

called me at work, claiming to be a law office trying to collect a Capitol One Mastercard debt (never ever had Capitol One mastercard) & asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social (which i would not) but when asked for details about the charges, they won't answer

Receive a call from this number weekly also claiming to be a law office trying to collect a debt.  What debt?  No answer.  Says call will be recorded.  I say I refuse permission to record.  They hang up.

I wish these calls would just STOP.  I have my phone on a "do not call" list and I get a ton of calls from odd phone numbers.  This is a new cell number as of Dec, 08 and i'm so sick of it.  No one ever leaves a message and I certainly do not pick up numbers that I don't know.

Calls but when I answer, some weird voice asking for a name that is unknown, very screechy voice. I thought that the new law that went into effect on Sep. 1st would stop this kind of calls!

Called me by random, will not leave a message, I *67 the number back.
They answered and when i said something to them, they hung up.

and apparentley they are from New York City, New York.

Calls cell like once a week...never leaves a message though. Pretty annoying.

Calls home number asking for uninteligible named person screaming demanding money.

Also calls from another phone number. Pretends to be a collection agency, but when asked to verify the info that they have re: money owed amount and to whom it is owed, they will not answer you.
