w just got text messages from this number offering a check so we are definately not sending s*** to this person

Yup. I just got a text too wanting full name and address regarding a craigslist ad I had poated. Um nope. Thank you for letting others know!!

their still at it with this number.....damn scammers

I received a text from this number in response to an ad on craigslist. Again they were asking for name and address to send a bank check and once it cleared my account they would send for the item. I gave them my name and work address. I text them back and told them to send it western union or paypal and was told the check was already mailed.

If you get a check from that guy, don't put it in your bank account. lol
We took it to our bank because the whole thing seemed suspicious, and they said the check was fake.
Don't fall for the stuff, they're just trying to make money.

Keeps telling me he is sending me a certified check
Per us postal service, gave me a tracking number. When checked # with post office it was not a valid #.

Its a scam... I wouldnt even respond. They are using someone elses Info to run it, and he said they took him for 4,000 dollers.

This is a text message regarding an item I have listed on Craigslist wanting my Name and address for him to send a certified back check for my item.

Very suspicious verbage in the text.
