I recieved a text reguarding a camper I have for sale. I am in Michigan. It was on Craigs list. Same story as all the rest of the people here. Wanted me to open a paypal account. I looked up the number to find out that is what this looser does. SCAMMER!

Received text responses from this person responding to an ad we placed on Craiglist...claiming he is an oceonographer out at sea and is buying the boat for his son and wants our paypal information to purchase the boat. After googling the phone number we found several people saying they got the exact same type response from this number about a boat, house, etc.....and that when it comes down to it he is nothing but a scammer.

Received text stating he was marine engineer and out to sea, wanted to purchase house I listed on Craigslist.
He stated his lawyer would view home and he would pay via PayPal, I didn't respond and I received a smart response from him. I told him I was waiting to hear from my attorney and he said to forget it he would find another house. I told him to "move on".
