I have got a call fron this number stating that I have goton a grant money from the government and that my money was suppose to come in after I send them 260 I sent the money and then they gave me the bank number suposably and nothing's they said in 6 to 9 hours they will send in money nxt day I call and their phones are cutt off please do not do the same mistake I did its a SCAM!!

I have been recieving calls after signing up online for some payday loans. I DID NOT RECIEVE ANY PAYDAY LOANS/ CASH ADVANCES. NOTHING WAS DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT.
I spoke to an "Officer (chief) Michael Austin" who claims his adress is 600 Garden Ave. NY, NY 25129 Phone number (646)351-1291.
Who claims i am getting charged with 1. Violation of federal bank regulations. 2. Colladeral check fraud 3. Internet fraud and 4. Theft by deception.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!! They make it sound oh so scary!
Anyway the adress given is actually a vetenerian office. So i called "officer michael austin" i wanted to visit him, but i dont have any pets to take to his vet shop. He insisted the office was there. Obviously it isnt!! ALL BS
These people get ur information online, make up BS to sound legit so u get scareds and u pay up. DUH.

Do not release or confirm ur info with them and do not pay these people money
Ignore all calls, let it go to VM
Or be like me and screw with them!! Hahah

I am getting the same phone calls,And he give me the case number. They show me the proofs.All proofs are true and positiv.  I visit there office in NY.  Right now my friend is in jail. His name is CHAD HAWKINS.
And his address 563 COUNTY RD,HENAGAR,AL,
go their and conform it..now upon on u.
it's may be possible that some other company doing SCAMS but i trust that is is not that type of company.

FURTHER UPDATE:  I just called the number and after being switched to an Officer Chris Martin, he gave me the case number of #1990BH, which is the same case number that was given to some other guy that posted a remark on his own site. After I told the guy I was a police officer and that he can go ahead and proceed with further action against me, he told me that they are a special division of the NYPD that collects outstanding payday loans. When I asked him for his commanding officers name, he wouldn't give me one and told me that if I didn't pay him, that he would have officers come to my door and arrest me, and then he hung up.  SCAMMER ALERT !!!!

I get a call from some guy with foreign accent claiming to be Officer Chris Martin from the legal department of BCI, Bureau of Criminal Investigation regarding a legal case against me. He states there are severe complaints about me and that if I do not resolve this issue and call him back, I could face severe penalties and actions involving my arrest. He also states that my employer and friends could also face actions, though none were specified.  Guy is obviously a scammer. If you answer their calls, DO NOT give up ANY personal information. They claim to know everything about us, but when they are pressured into giving up what information they have on us, like our SS number, address, etc, they have no idea and are trying to get this info from us. All they have is your name and phone number. SCAMMER !!!!

I am getting the same John Smith phone calls. I have asked numerous times for them to quit harassing me but they still call several time a day. Claiming that there is a legal case against me. Yet I can get no information out of them when I call back. I really am frustrated and want to find out how to get them to stop and who I can report it to in order to get it stopped. Any suggestions?

I keep getting calls stating there are leagal charges and I need to settle before they send authorities to arrest me.   Very Foreign man.  
He states his name is Michael Black with Harris Law office , 600 Garden Ave Mount Vernon, Ny, Ny 10550.  When I ask him more questions he isn't pleasant.  Then he tells me to hang on and the phone line goes dead.

What is this all about. What do we do to stop this.

A VERY foreign speaking man has been harassing me at work and my cell phone claiming to be "Officer John Smith" from New York law enforcement and is filing legal action against me for what I have no idea.  He will not stop calling even after I have told him I am filing harassment charges against him!!  How do I get this stopped!!???
