I just got a call from (646) 503-1276 NY, USA claiming to be a Patrick Jones. Yeah right. Like I believe that is his real name. Anyway it was the usual heavy middle eastern accent. I could hardly understand him. Anyway he claimed to want to do a loan from $1000 to $7000. I never identified myself to him. I told him that no one at the number applied for a loan and was not sure how he got this phone number. I told him to please Do Not Call again. Also I told him to tell his buddies in the background to not call me and tell me that I am going to be arrested either.

It has to be a scam. They all have heavy middle eastern accents. First they call and tell you that you have been awarded a US Givernment Grant, yeah right. Then they call and say that you have been approved for a car loan, sure just when was that application submitted. Then they call and tell you that you have been approved for a payday loan. I learned my lesson there and do do payday loans. Then they call and say you have been approved for a personal loan, but you have to pay money to get it. Been burned there not gonna do it. Then when all the above fails they call and tell you that you are going to be arrested for fraud on a payday loan. Yeah right, just when has law enforcement called ahead of time to tell you you are going to be arrested.

There is a pattern and it's all a scam. How we stop it is a mystery. I do know they are calling over a magic jack VOIP ghosting phone numbers and they are actually calling from the Middle East. Ghosting phone numbers is against the law in the USA. All we can do is to just keep reporting this stuff to the FTC, FBI and your state Attorney general. FTC and FBI know about this crime ring, but haven't tracked them down yet. They do know that these people are a crime ring and they are scamming money out of US citizens to further the own terrorist activities and they are calling from the Middle East. Definit scam you have to pay them 200 dollars to get a loan....haha go figure. applying for a payday loan is the worst mistake i have ever made in my life. and i am not predjutice at all but whats up with every scam i have gotten has been from an indian middle eastern.....for future reference as soon as you answer the phone and they have that accent just hang up. one guy called my cell phone 32 times in a row trying to tell me i was gonna get arrested and all this other stuff and sure enough it was a scam to try and get money i went sick on him and told him i will be contacting my local police office and he then stopped calling for the moment. MY ADVISE IS IF YOU NEED A LOAN GO IN PERSON.

Don't do it, it is a scam to get your money. You should not have to pay them money to get money.
