I recieved 2 calls from an "Officer Ricky Watson" who says he is trying to get in touch with me for 2nd time as there is a legal complaint filed on my name, but I did not get back to him.(with a very thick indian accent) He needs to make me aware there will be a Physical investigation at my place of employment and at my home about the fraud activity which has been done from my side. Before all this happens you get back to me as it will be in your best interest. Number to reach him is 646-524-4791, then he says~ and if I wont hear from you, you will be facing severe legal consequences in your state county code department? Then he says good luck!

This is obviously fraud for impersonating a law enforment officer
and lying to me.

I received calls from multiple numbers over the last few months, 310-359-1211, 310-405-6184, 413-888-4709, 410-988-4788, 413-888-7409, 310-464-0499 and of course the number everyone has listed...I recently have gotten sick and tired of it when the Attorney General's office said there is nothing they can do about this right now, that these people are based in Nigeria, or Jamaica or something...so I DECIDED TO TAKE ALL THE CALLS THAT I HAVE LOGGED PLACE THEM IN A CALL FORWARD LIST AND HAVE ALL THE CALLS SENT TO THE FBI OFFICE IN MY AREA...SO MY PHONE DOES NOT RING WITH THIS CRAP ANYMORE... :)

I got the same...he identified himself as an "Officer Daniel Walker"...which is bogus to begin with b/c he is not calling from a law enforcement agency.  He also has the heaviest East Indian accent ever...how American of a name could he pick?  He mentions that there is a lawsuit with my name on it...pshhh...whatever.  First of all, collections doesn't work OVER THE PHONE.  They have laws they have to follow.  They can call, but the proof is their burden.  Collections have to send you something in writing to your home address within a certain amount of time and by law, you have 30 days in most states to dispute it.  So pshhhh.  You can't be arrested or even charged criminally for having a debt.  Tell them that you are going to hand over the number to the local FBI office and that is it.  They are just trying to scare you into giving them information.  Yesterday, the same guy called with a different American name, from a different phone number, and naming a different company.  BOGUS!

I've been receiving many calls on my home phone and cell phone. I applied for a payday loan months ago and was denied yet they keep calling asking for money.

They also called my phone. They told me that they were filing a lawsuit and they would send an investigation team over. I threatened to call the police.

I Received A Call From this number saying i owed money for a payday loan and if i didn't pay it i was going to have legal action taken against me they had all my information very scary the thing is i never got a payday loan.Wanted me to fax his more information i don't think so hope they get caught

i recieved a call from this number 646-524-4791, did not answer it and a message was left for me and I was told the wen I applied for a payday loan in Dec of 2010, but did not complete the form or infomation needed to receive the loan, I thought that was that! but no I got the call feb 28th and was told I have to pay 210$ to these people or I'll go to jail!! I never got any money,did not sign anything, or complete the infomation need for this loan!! they will not let me send a check for the money! I'm to go buy a greendot prepaid card!! I found that the number comes from the corner of Chambers st and Reade st in new york and tomorrow I will call the building!! I don't understand why I have to pay for something I did not use!! so if you feel I'm right please call the number 646-524-4791 ask for Andrew
