That's in PA by the way. Really who speaks like that a European/Russian Hacker? Again Thanks to all of you who helped me keep my item from a probable cyber thief. Additionally the individual stated that he would be adding $100.00 extra dollars for shipping and would be paying with pay pal "because it attach to my bank account!!" Google search Rocks!! Just got the same thing, I am selling a trailer in Norther Indiana. Seer instructor wanted to buy as a gift for his father. He requested same information from me, I ask if he was buying your trailer today also.

I also got a text from this number.  I am selling a RV for $9500 they wanted my paypal info and home address.  He said he was a military seer instructor and he wanted to buy as a gift for his dad.  I googled the number - because when it sounds to good to be true it usually is.

Same thing here. Claimed he was in the military and wanted to purchase our item for his father. Wanted us to western union 700.00 for someone to pick up and transport item. Wanted us to send money first, then he would release money. Was also sending us fake emails from paypal..... look for the end of the website address.... it said secureroot.com at the end. SCAMMERS!!!!!!

same thing as above wants to use paypal . he sends extra money that u have to send to a shiping co by westeren union but u have to send the money first then ur money will b releast to u . i am texting him rt now i think this is fun to c how long he will ride this out untill he gives up. id like to find the people that do this and stomp the s*** out of them

Two days ago I received an email from someone saying they wanted to buy my car from Craigslist but didn't ask for anymore pictures or information on it. They asked a price and didn't try to negotiate at all which seemed out of the ordinary for someone buying a used car. They asked for a PayPal email id to pay me and said a "private courier agent" would be by to pick up the car since they are a marine engineer and is "offshore" a lot. Then today they sent a text saying the same thing about how they wanted to surprise their son with this car as a gift. Definitely a scam!

yep just got a three text mess about my trailer wanting it for his father hes in the military and cant come look at it but wants it for sure i tryed calling the num and it says the google sub is unavailable really these people have no life an they are prob the ones flagging everyone on craigslist since craigskist has no restricktions

Definite scammer.  Sent me a text at 3 am asking if something I posted on Craigslist was still for sale when I just posted the item at 10pm.

Just got a text from this number interested in a car I was selling on Craigslist... Says their offshore but number is from new York.... Then said they were communicating by email but it was via text... Saw the number here definitely believe its a scam

Yeah i just got a text a couple days later and thought hey this might be a hoax and checked on here and shur enough there number has complaints on here well im not texting them back.

I definitely just got a text from this number and pretty sure it's a hoax. I am selling a diamond necklace and the text said that they wanted to give it to their brother as a birthday gift. Some garbage about giving an extra $100 for shipping and wiring money.

got a message from this number after making a posting on craigslist. Claimed they would wire money to me through Paypal for convenience. Craigslist clearly warns against these money transfers, if you can't pick up then don't deliver. Hoax.
