Stop Calling me.............

I keep getting calls from this number as well....they have called off and on for a long time, keep threatening me with jail, etc. But when I ask for written documentation of what this is about, he says he can't tell me. All he can tell me is it was a payday loan...I have NEVER in my life gotten a payday loan, NEVER!! This time, he left a voicemail at my work saying if I don't call him back all he could say to me would be Good luck and God Bless....well, I happen to work for an attorney, so NATHAN BROWN will be getting a call back from the attorney I work for....so I say to Nathan, Good Luck and God Bless....LOL

I have been getting calls from these people as well. They leave you a long voice mail message, one was from a Nathan Brown of the Law Office of Richard R Ross. I called them back to learn what they were reaching me for and was informed today that I am being accused of "check fraud" on a payday loan from a couple of years ago. I needed to pay $1,836.48 (which the rep stated were stolen by me), I could pay this with a credit card or debit card, it had to be paid in full and it must be done today. Otherwise, the guy said I could expect to get a warrant for my arrest and end up paying $5,484 after being taken to court. These people are clearly in violation of consumer rights, they are rude and very threatening. I think they get customer's info somehow from payday loan sites.

I got this call today too. its a buch of bs

IT IS A SCAM. If an attorney ever wants to talk to you they send certified letters. SCAM. Call the guy an a$$hole and laugh at him until he hangs up. It's a bunch of foreigners using voip phone numbers to scare gullible people. You are fine, don't loose sleep.

This person keeps calling my job from this number pretending that I owe money. My voice mail is open so anyone who walks in my office can hear these untruths. It is very irratating to say the least.

got this call at work. they are going to give it to the police and so am i. they have to be stop.

I've recevied 2 of these today. They are very threatening. Says either myself or my attorney calls him back. PLEASE CATCH THESE JERKS!

I have been getting these calls for almost a year.  They change numbers, names of company, etc...but it's the same thing.  I even got one to admit to me that it was a scam.  She said she would remove me from her calling list, but alas...a few months later and here I go again.  It's a scam you don't owe anything.  I have made a game out of it and call them constantly and harass them.  Make jokes, etc.  They hang up on me and eventually turn off the telephone.  It's the only thing I can do to get some humor out of it.

These people have called several numbers here at work.  They always leave a long and very nasty message.  How do we get them to stop? The person they are calling for does not work here and my guess they are doing this to other companies.

Person with thick accent keeps calling my cell and work # stating I owe them money.  I know it's a scam, but they just won't quit.

I received a call from Kelly Ryan today. I knew that was a fake name because she had an indian accent like all the others before her. These people have called me every 6 months for the  past 2 years. I have spoken to all the people mentioned above from the dpt of corporate affairs, legal dpt etc. They must have gotten my info from from the internet when I applied for a pay day loan a while back. I paid it off. Something needs to be done before they swindle some poor unsuspecting person.

they called My work.  When My boss called me and told me they were trying to get a hold of me.  they told me that I owe over $5000. plus legal fees and will be having a officer visit me at work tomorrow by 11am then going after 2-people I had as reference.  They all sound Indian and when the the person who asked me to hold for Ron Backster it still sounded like him when he said it was Ron.
I have checked all my bank statements and all loans have been paid back in full.  How can I get this to STOP?

got the same call. first time i called they said they were corporate affairs. the second time i called they said they were law offices. I said funny i called a minute ago and your company name was something else.  i made a few call found out it is a scam. just trying to get your debit card info. and they were reported. they speak with an accent. don't give them any info!!!

I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one receiving calls from this number! They called me both at home and when I didn't answer the phone they called my work, and luckily for me a coworker got information from them...name, number, etc. I am going to the authorities tomorrow and reporting them. From the other posts I've read I'm not sure how much good it will do, but I will still do it. I had been receiving similar calls in the past, from someone with a different name and a different number, and they stopped for almost six months, but now they have started calling again. I wish something would be done!

I got 5 phone calls in a row, from a Indian Guy named Josh Jones, he said I was being sued and He needed my Lawer information, He also said if I do not call back He wishes me good luck, He kind of scared me until, I tryed to look up the number, I called the phone company they were calling from and reported them, if he calls back lol, i am going to scare him!!!!!lol

The person who called from this number said his name was William Page and was calling from the Department of Corporate Affairs. He stated that his call back number is (646)-580-3496.

These people have been calling me on and off for the last year. No matter what I do they will not leave me alone. They call me at my work, my cell phone. I've spoken with various law enforcement agencies but nothing has clearly been done. I DO NOT owe them money yet they keep threatening me with law suits, etc. I do not know what to do. I'm overwhelmed by this. Has anyone found a way to make this stop?

I CONTACTED THE FBI ON THEM MONTH AGO IT HAS TO DO WITH THE INTERNET IT SEEMS LIKE WHEN I GOT TO SOME SIGHTS I START GETTING THE CALLS AGIAN.

I keep receiving calls from this number saying that I owe $1095 for an unpaid payday loan...this is a total scam.  Do not give these people any more information than they have.  I will be reporting this to the authorities.  They speak with a thick accent and are very rude.  It might be worth the $30 to change my cell number.  They also threatened me with jail, lawsuits and loss of my job. These jerks need to be stopped!!
