I have been applying to jobs outside of my current loation(Houston) and this number called me for a job offer with an organization called SunShine...Then the call hung up. Called back and no longer working. I applied to this job that is located in North Miami. But the number is a 646 area code; and that is New York. I Don't Know!!!...

Think you folks are all messed up. I just got called twice from this number. First time, I was not quick enough and they were gone. Then I called the number and got a Verizon mssg saying disconnected. Second call, I answered and it was an automated callback from Group Health Inc. They are a private contractor that does Medicare's coordination of benefits. I'd called them earlier w/ a problem and asked them to call me back when there was a CS agent free instead of waiting in their phone que for 20 minutes. So, if you called them and asked for such a callback, that's who it is. If somebody else called them and left your phone number in their callback system blame them. The system's just doing its job. Ain't computers great!!

I am getting calls from this number but the caller does not leave a message. Does anyone knows anything about this phone # because I got a busy signal when I attempted to call back.

Picked up said hello - they said wrong number and hung up - tried calling back and it is a non-working number.

The number called me for three rings. and I called right back and it said "this number is not a working number.

It shows up on caller id as: HIPUSA.  The called I received was from a customer service rep at EmblemHealth, of which HIP is one of the insurance companies they own.

I believe their customer service reps work from home.  It's a very low budget, low quality, no frills, generic health insurance company.  Then again, that's what health insurance is becoming with little care for the people they cover and share holders and management being the only people that matter.

Yes, I am very very sure it is EmblemHealth. They were returning my call.

The calls have nothing to do with quality of company.  The call is legitamte.  Its merely a switchboard matter.  Those getting the unexplained calls may be EmblemHealth clients, if not, they (people being bothered by calls)may have obtained new telephone numbers from a pool of tel numbers used in the past by the telephone company, and previoulsy connected to former EmblemHealth clients.

I am receiving calls from this number at 7 am and 9 pm.
It's very annoying.
No one says anything when I anwer.
Why can't someone find out who this number is registered to and stop them.
