same story above guy texted me about add on kijiji asked me for my bank info said he was from CAhis name ben and was out of twn and gift was for his son and wanted my name zip code email address and for me to mail it to africa TO HIS SON if someone doesnt want to meet up with you with cash dont fall for this scam and dont use paypal theres many scams on that they send you money via paypal and get item from you then claim to paypal they nvr recived it and get their cash back and have your item.....

Texted me today in reply to a craigslist ad.. Said his name was Ben and wanted to know if my $270 game system was still available.  Then said: i will do for $300 if is OK am from CA, but am sorry as i am not around,i am currently on trip out of CA with my boss ,i want the Item for my son will be adding $150 for the postage to him true USPS Express Mail..can you ship out it to him?  
I asked him if he could make it any more obvious that this was a scam.  He tried to reassure me he was a genuine buyer and he knew my concerns and not worry.   A simple phone search found my suspicions to be true.

Had items posted on Kijiji with my cell phone number as contact.  Received texts telling me that they wanted my items and what is my paypal info.  Were in a very big hurry to get me to ship the items to Nigeria where his daughter was on a school trip.  Received a fraudulent email from PayPal telling me money had been deposited into my PayPal account.  When I actually logged into my paypal account, of course there was no money there.  When I confronted them on it, they tried to tell me that I had to send them shipping confirmation and then the money would show up in my account.  They stopped contacting me when I told them that I was contacting PayPal to confirm this.  BIG SCAM!!!!!!!

This number claims to be from California and has the name Ashley associated with it. They are asking for me to ship an item to California and are paying an extra $50 for the item

I was selling an item on Kijiji and this number texted me and wanted me to pay shipping to Nigeria then put tracking number into a email transfer from Bank of America in order for me to get my money. Called my phone company and they advised me that this number is linked to many scams.  Dont fall for it!!! SCAM!

Answered my Craigslist ad for a cell phone with a texted scam offer. Wanted me to ship it to his friend in West Africa, and promised he would put funds in my account. I don't THINK so (;
