Same here. I was not required to buy any cards. I was given a loan number, I was asked to verify my information, i.e. address', DL#, banking information. I was asked how much would I like to borrow, I was told $1,500.00 will be in the account in two hours. 9 months I would pay $183.33 in the course of 9 months this was considered a E-loan! They would direct debit the $183.33 from my account each month!

I received a call from this number. I was given a loan # as well as verifying information with them. They said I was approved for a $1,500.00 loan. I was told that the money would be deposited in the next two hours. Have not seen anything yet!

Received a call from 646-658-3157.  Caller id said 'New York NY'...  Yeah, right...  Same story as everyone else.  I've been approved for $10,000.  I really just don't understand how these types of operations work.  Who is sucked in by this???

I was scammed to buy two green dot cards, one pre paid and one money pak scratch off / one for 500 dollars and another for 200$ they have all my information- and guarenteed me a 10,500 loan within 3 hours on friday then again today and then I was told after I followed up (no money deposited) that they were closed today and I would have to call back on Monday. Whom ever is doing this to people - you are cruel, misleading and you are liars and scam artists and will eventually get caught. I am not done with this I will keep you updated - for I will not stop until I get my 700.00 dollars I invested back.
Also they called me and had all my information, so my identity was basically stolen!

Same as above. They call and say they are GE Capital and want banking information. I refused and they hung up. I reported them to GE Capital and to the FTC.

got a call from this number and said I was approved for $1000 to $5000 through GE Capital, it is a scam I have not applied for  anything!!! when you tell these guys to take your name off of their call lists they hang up and call back from another number later!!! so annoying!!!

HE CALLED ME SAYING I WAS APPROVED FOR $1000. HE COULDNT TELL ME WAT HIS COMPANY NAME WAS OR NOTHING.ITS A SCAM! HE WANTED ME SHOW DAT I HAD $200 ON ANOTHER CARD SO DAT I CAN GET DA $1000. HE WAS FULL OF S***! DONT DO IT!

Got a call tonight from this number, guy had a Hispanic (?) accent. Knew at least my first name, and said something about a loan. Since I've been getting a lot of telemarketing calls, I sternly asked who he was, how he got my name and number, and told him to take me off whatever list. He hung up. Exactly three minutes later, he called again, this time from a number that had a local area code and the three digit prefix for MY cell phone company. Said something about my being pre-approved for a $10k loan and that I'd applied for it. I told him I had NEVER applied for a loan and asked again for his name, the company he worked for, and how he'd gotten my name and number. He hung up, hasn't called back. I'm notifying the local police.

I got got a call from this douche. He's called in the past as well. It's a total scam. I started insulting him and his lack of English speaking skills and got him real good and pissed. The poor b*****d was screaming, cussing, and insulting my wife by the time I was done with him.

I'm filing police report as well. I don't really expect there's much they can do but at least I will be on record as having reported this fart stain should anything ever come of it.

Who knows, maybe this human skid-mark will get hit by a bus on his way to the taco stand.

I just got the call from the same number and he was saying the same thing. I don't know what to do. At first he called me from this number and his voice was not clear then he called me from 911. But we finished talking then that number disappeared from my call list. Then I informed it to police dept. :(

Same here.Said serious lawsuit pending. Stated he was an police officer and that they had all my personal info including ss#.  I called the state attorney general and they advised filiing a complaint with New York State Consumer Protection office. You can do this online . Serious bad guys!

Person said I took a cash advance in 8/2010.  He had my phone number, address and old e-mail.  I did not take any kind cash advance.  I am worried about my identity being stolen.  The caller said that there was legal action pending.
