Sarah is still calling for her company "Max".  Only wants to speak with owner.  Would not say what she wanted.   June 2011

Figured this was a sales call and from these posts I'm right.  The famous Sarah is still at it and only wants to speak to the president and that my boss would be familiar with her company.  yea right.

A call from a "Sarah" whom I don't know.

This same woman, Sarah, called and said Max was her firm and that my boss would be familiar with it. Same number, May 2011.

Thank you so much for this site!  I'm a secretary for a small business, and I just received a call from "Sarah at Max" at this number asking for the owner.  Thanks for saving us some time.

Got the same call from "sarah".  Called the president of our company by his first name, which is unusual , so she had done her homework.    So glad I looked up the number before passing it on to the president.  Total scammer!

I got the same type of call from "Sara".  She spoke to one of our employees, asked for me by name and was rude and aggressive.  Let's spread the word on Sara!

Yep, Sara tried to cold call me, but happily could only leave me a message on my voice mail. Glad I found this site to report it.

My favorite thing to say to "these people" is when they ask for the owner or President politely tell them "I havnt seen the SOB in days, but if you talk to him tell him to please call the office!!!  Bet they dont call back!!!

"Sarah" just called here  at my husbands company.  She said to have him call her back and when I asked what this was regarding, she told me that her Company is Max and that the owner (used his first name only) was familiar with her firm.  I told her that I was his wife and that I was pretty sure that he WASNT familiar with her or hwer company.  She hung up!!!

I guess I will join the ranks of those that have received a call from the mysterious person known as Sara from MAX. She called our business and just like the others have said asked to speak with the owner by first name, I asked what was this regarding and she said he knows her. I told her that he's one for the day and she left me with phone # 646-723-9669.

Next time she calls back I'll be ready...I'll play the game and make her regret calling me again....I can't wait!

Just received a call here at work from a "Sarah" at "Max".  She demanded to speak with our president.  I said he was out of town on business and she TOLD me to take a message!  "Sarah" has a very deep voice, sounds like a man ;)   She gave me her number and asked to have our president call her back-since she didn't pronounce his name correctly, I knew it wasn't anyone he knew.  I asked her what this was in regards to and she told me none of my business...WOW!

They called asking for the owner of the business and said they were supposed to be working at his house and they needed his cell number. I asked him for his number and said I would call the owner and have him call them back. They were very quick to hang up. A few days later Sara called and said she was with Max and need to speak to the owner. They are ver persistant!

Sarah called here again today, once again she was rude and pushy.  We've been receiving her phone calls for over a year.  She will not stop calling.  Always asks for the owner by his legal first name, which is a huge sign that she has no idea who he is.  She always states that he will want to call her back and knows her company.  Complete lie.  How awful!! 646-723-9669

Still using the same approach.  Sarah from Max called, asking for the boss by his first name only.  She said he was familiar with her company.  Smells fishy, so I just took a message.  She again was not very polite.

My secretary just got a call. The caller identified himself as "Jonathan Ramos" and left a return number. He told her he was calling me back. Apparently, they are still at it in August 2010.

I woman named Sarah Jenkins called and left a message for our owner.  As his assistant, I called her back and the woman who answered her phone stated that she was Sarah's assistant.  I asked what the call was regarding and she said she had my name and number and would give it to Sarah.  I asked what type of business this was and she said she didn't dabble in "Sarah's" business (what a great assistant)!  She hung up on me and when I called back, my call was sent to voicemail and I left a message of "I don't know what type of scam you're running, but take our name and number off of your call list!"  

NOTHING BUT A SCAM!

I am an Executive Secretary for an Engineering firm and received a call from Sarah Jenkins today stating she was from Max.  When I asked if my boss know what this was regarding she said, "Yes, he is familiar with my firm".  It seemed kind of fishy to me so I Googled the phone number she gave and found this website.  After reading everyone's comments I called the number back and got her "assistant".  I told her that my boss would like to be taken off their calling list and she said she will pass the message on.  However, I highly doubt that will happen since she didn't even ask me for the spelling of his name or phone number they called.  At least I will be ready the next time they call...

I'm a receptionist at a medical office. The caller identified herself as Sarah Jenkins from Max and that the doctor was familiar with her firm. I showed the doc this website, and he decided to give a call back to see what's up... She was very adamant about him investing in her company, but was surprisingly nice. He interrupted her about 30 seconds into the phone call, and she kept talking and talking and he eventually hung up. Definitely a scam... b*tch wouldn't shut up!

I also just received a call from the Sarah. She told me she was from a LAW Firm called Jenkins Max. We did try to call her back minutes after I hung up and of course she wasn't at her desk. Go figure. Thanks to everyone who posted on this sight. It has been a big help.

Received same type of call a few minutes ago.  Identified herself as SARAH JENKINS of a prestigious NEW YORK CITY firm called M (as in Mary) A (as in Apple) and X (as in Xray) [NOTE:  this is a direct quote, not an amplification].  Refused to deal with anyone other than the president of the company.  Yeah, right, like I'm going to pass on this message.  Very controlling bi***.

I got the same call from "Sarah". Don't bother returning her call.

Jonathan called and yelled at my wife trying to get my cell phone number. She took his number, gave it to me, and I called it--they hung up on me!

her called ID number showed up as 816 (My area code), Im an answering service and she gave me the #646. I asked her what it was about to give a msg to my client and she Screamed up at me, telling me it wasnt my business. So if that tells you anything
