this person hacked into my email; happened to email a personal friend who is VP at my local bank; asking to do a quick wire transfer---- that I could not come in today so please have this done. This number was at the bottom of my signature instead of my actual number. wtf!?!?

The call came to my private cell number, though since I did not recognize the number as being authorized, I did not answer. Furthermore, the caller did not leave a voicemail.

Hung up with recorded message "Thank you. Good bye", when I answered the call.

Called my phone three times/said they are calling in response to an application for job online. Never applied for any job online.., I only picked up the third time and the guy said "someone in your household applied for a job" and I asked him what is the name of someone and he hung up..

Just got a call from the # 646-776-5952, no one answer it after I picked it up, after 10 seconds, heard a recorded voice said "goodbye" then disconnected, so wired.

I got a phone call from this number on a smart phone I use for my job testing mobile apps.  No one outside of my test team has the smart phone's number so I know this has to be a telemarketer or collections agency.

Called me at 2:24 pm, very staticky and they kept saying hello. I called back and they claimed that I had been looking online for a job. I hung up after that.

Also just got this call. Said I filled out an online survey for a job application and when I said I didn't fill out a survey (twice), he hung up. Pretty shady.

Got a call from this number today. He said he's Joseph and that because I filled out an online survey indicating that I am looking for employment... that is why he is calling. I told him that I am a boss myself and not looking for jobs, he hung up right away.

I picked up, said hello. Heard nothing, said hello again. Digital woman's voice just said "goodbye".
Looks like their system didn't work for me. I'm assuming telemarketer but don't know.

NY, USA got a call on my cell saying that I had liked out a survey and they needed more information. I said I don't fill out surveys. There was static and then they said they were calling because I indicated online that I am looking for a job. I said no I had not and they hung up right away. Scammers.

I answered and there was no reply.

Got a call from 646-776-5952 today, 23 FEB 2013.  Answered and said hello twice.  No reply.  Hung up.

Just got a call from this number, saying I had filled out a survey about employment. Not true. Would not tell me what the survey was. I hung up.

I received a call, answered and no one was there.  Then an automated message said, "goodbye."

This calling got my many private information. I am afraid he will cheat and do some harm to me. What can I do now?

I had a similar situation to the above.  I have received 2 calls from this number in the past week.  I picked up the phone and it immediately said, "thank you" and hung up.  I then called the number back and it's some sort of employment agency and I had apparently filled out an employment survey.  I was told I was number 5 on the hold list and then someone came on the phone but it sounded recorded.  When I asked to be removed from the list, I was thanked for my time and they immediately hung up on me.  I definitely think it's recorded, though.  The person on the other side sounded very robotic

I also have a phone that I use for credit cards work etc . I never give out my phone with the 646 area code cause its only used for family, friends etc . So god only knows how they goy my # and if it doesn't come up as one of my contacts I would NEVER pick it up ..

Keep gettin these calls 646 is a area code for cell phones in NY , I kno my cell starts with 646 !!

I just got this call displaying 6467765952. A guy said his name is Joseph Peters and the company is WN, which is located in Orlando, FL. He told me I recently showed my interest in finding a job in a survey and he would like to confirm the information about me. When I asked which survey he kept did not answer but complaining noise. Then he started to ask questions: are you 18yrs or older, are you US citizen or permanent resident, are you or your spouse affiliated with army... by then I believed that this is a fishy call and he was trying to collect more confidential information. So I dropped the call immediately. Be careful when you receive this call.

i got call from this number and he was asking my SSN. when i asked him why you need my ssn? he said cannot hear you. then i dorpped that call.

I always ask for their phone number to call back but i was in rush and didn't do that. Those are totally fake and like to still others identity easy way.

Looks to me that it was a pre recorded voice and someone pressing buttons to play it. The thing is, what is the purpose behind? To scan numbers and determine which ones are active?

I didn't answer, but I called the number back. It's a job placement agency....don't know how they got my number. I did NOT indicate anywhere that I was interested in employment!!!
