I got a text from a guy name Chris Mark #646-801-4981.Interested in buying car I have on internet.Didn't ask more anything other than bottom price.Said he would send certified check for the car plus shipping.I told him as long as check cleared I would release car and title.Is this guy a scanner too

Got same message--I got a horse for sale in Texas--only have the text came in at first the last half that said "know asap"....so I "bing"'d the number---glad you guys had all posted.  I think I will just pretend I dont have text on my phone. ;)

Now he would like to buy a horse in Texas.. Guess he needs the trailer to haul it in.

Yup. Put my truck on Craigslist in Washington DC and this number is texting me asking about PayPal, that "am still in service currently in Shahbaz air force base," and telling me he will take the truck simply by looking at my ad.

Same with me.  Text from "merchant marine" who wants to buy my horse.  Told him he had to come out and see her.  Didn't hear anything back.

same here I got a text at about 0037 twice asking if I still had the bike for sale.

He Texted wanting to buy our boat, asked for our PayPal information. Wanted to buy it without even seeing it. He is a scammer!!

This person keeps texting wanting a 4 wheeler that I have for sale.  Wants to send M. O or cashiers check for the purchase of vehicle.  When advised that the sale is cash only.  He proceeded to text back stating that he does not have his banking info since he is out of the state on business, but would be willing to purchase once he gets my pay pal info.  Such a full blown scam since he first stated he was off shore in the marines and now he is on business???  Plus how in the world can you pay via pay pal with no banking info???.  Going "ghost" on the gentleman.  Hopefully this will stop the texts that I have been receiving.

Have a vehicle for sale on Craigslist. this person is texting me, claiming to be a merchant marine and is offshore, but really wants the vehicle. Wants to do business by western union, etc....I am located in California and immediatly became suspicious when I saw the area code.
