listed a caravan on ebay received a text message from this number saying wanted to buy it then further emails from christina.evans001@gmail.com all wanted my paypal details to transfer money to our paypal account. believe real name is James powell claimed to be from South Africa and was going to use a chinese shipping company to pickup caravan from australia. BEWARE do not give paypal details or other bank details etc

Same deal got the txt message from Christina and asking to email them about the two items that I had just put on eBay that have nothing to do with each other which I thought was weird. Then eventually there asking for my pay pal email so they can send me the money ASAP then get a courier on track to pick the items up after payment. Thankfully I caught on. Thanks !

Same! Received a txt message asking to contact them via email. I'm also Trying to sell a vehicle and 'Christina Evans' Won't give up any information and wants me to send my paypal information to settle payment outside of eBay. Seems Very dodgy!

YEP ! Just had same thing happen. Car was on Ebay & got email wanting to buy it. All seemed pretty much OK until they mentioned Western Union. Then bells went off !

Same guy tried to scam us. But I googled "Christina Evans eBay scam" and found this post after getting suspicious. Sent a "text" that we couldn't reply to, but didn't contact us through eBay after we posted a car for sale on there. Sent fake emails from "paypal" and all.. Email was Christina.evans001@gmail.com. Asked for $1800 for freight to western union money transfers.. Caught him out before he caught us thank god.

This guy scammed me $1836 thru western union he found me on eBay. Goes by the name James Powell and email is Christina Evans. Sounds like a junkie when speaking with him on the phone.

after posting a vehicle on ebay i received another dodgy txt msg from savigarcia@gmail.com phone number +16468015714 scam for sure don't reply or answer any questions
