Ya the people from G E Capital Bank are not asking for any upfront payments. If anybody is asking for upfront in the name of G E Capital then those guys are not from G E Capital.

I also got a call from them and i have applied for a loan. I got the one from G E Capital Bank itself. but i would like to inform you all that those who are rude to us are not from G E Capital and they are the frauds. on the name of G E Capital many scams are going on via the internet.

Kept calling and calling and even harassing my son when he answered.

2 hang ups after 1 ring, then finally a message left - foreign (not American) sounding man calling from GE Capital - couldn't understand anything besides that as he sounded as if he was talking into a cup or tube or some sort of muffling device.

LOL, I got one a while ago and still have it on my voicemail. The guy was calling for a Minoica and said if she didn't call back then he can only say, "God help you". Omg, duhhh..ok. This is legit, lol! It's so stupid you have to laugh about it.

i just got a call from these people claiming to be Department of law enforcement. that the person, who isn't even in my household?, is in a lot of trouble and will be sorry if either he or his lawyer doesn't calk back. this was in regards to...the phone skipped like losing service, and he best get a call or he won't be able to stop what will happen too him. impersonating a law enforcement agent is a big no no. therefore, i have contacted the FBI and forwarded the voice mail to them.

They constantly call and they always say they are from first financial. The number doesn't register to anywhere when i look it up. They want me to work with them to consolidate my debt. I have asked them to take me off their list and they continue to call multiple times per day.

I got a call from these people asking if my wife was home. When I said "no" the caller (who did not speak english very well) asked me how did I plan on resolving the credit card debt on mt wife's account.

I told him my wife was in charge of her finances. He asked me if I was aware that my wife owed over $25,000.00 in credit card debt and did I want to set up a payment plan?

I told him my wife is in charge of her own finances. He asked if there was a time to call back and I told him to call at 6:00 pm and she would be happy to speak to him.

If they call again I have my presentation ready:

I will ask who's calling and get a name. I will then ask how he knew Mrs ......?  The next statment will be - "You are instructed NOT to hang up as this number will be traced - Are you aware that you have contacted a homicide scene - son? What exactly was your relationship to the deseased? (whatever answer he gives I will tell him I do not believe him and he is now wanted for questioning in a homicide case!

I hope my plan is not illegal ?????????

Received a call from 646-929-8888. Caller asked for my wife. I said she wasn't home. He said "Is this her husband?" I said yes. He said my wife wanted him to talk to me. Said his name as Mark Smith from US Financial. Said he wanted to talk about paying off credit cards. (lots of phone chatter in background, lots of delays in his responses, etc., like from a call center). I said my wife didn't ask him to talk to me. He asked Do you think I'm lying? I said yes, not interested. He went on, I said not interested. He hung up. Very unprofessional and rude.

SCAM for sure.

missed call, called back and recording about international area was busy. how did they get a cell number?

I've had a few calls from this number this past week, then this afternoon (04/19/2011) I had 11 calls in 10 minutes from 646-929-8888.... and they were very rude and won't take the time to remove me from their list....   so I went out to my garage an picked up an air horn... ... Let's just say I won during the last call.

Called and asked to talk to my husband, I asked what it was regarding and he said your debt. I then told him he wouldn't be intrested. He said how do you know what he wants? Because I am his wife and I do the finances. He says he has all this info on our debt and our intrest rates. Then asks what we owe. So I said If you know so much about my finances why dont you tell me? Then I asked why he is calling me when we are on the national do not call list, then he proceeded to tell me I was a joke??? Very professional....haha, he's the joke...not me!

I don't know who these people are but if they are a business they are very unprofessional.  I just received a call less than a minute ago and when I told them it wasn't a good time to talk they hung up without saying another word.  That right there is enough for me NOT to do business with them.

I too keep getting called. Have asked to talk to a supervisor , Guess what? There's not one to talk to.
