I, too, received such a check.  I took it too my bank.  the routing numbers on the check are legitimate, however, the account number and check number is bogus.  If I had cashed the check, I would have been responsible for paying it back.  I asked about the consequences of taking it to a check cashing institution.  Had I done that, I could have been facing federal prosecution for passing what I should have known was a bad check.

Too bad the laws target the people who get scammed.  I asked my "Pre-Paid Legal" lawyer about prosecuting this guy and was told to just rip up the check and forget it.  If there is any other lawyer out there that would like to take this case, please contact me at 513-889-5377.

Received a letter in my mail from "Imperial Platinum Inc". There was also a check enclosed. I never participate in any drawings so it must be scam.
