this number has called my cell phone.  When i answered, the man said that i had won a cell phone...He then asked how many cell phones i had on my account- so i hung up.

Just received call from this number. Said he was from rogers and wanted to give me a free phone. I said not interested.

After finding the # on here I called rogers and they told me to report to the phone fraud people. This is a Bogus offer dont fall for it.

The number for phone fraud reporting in canada is: 1-888-383-2080

asked the same things, hung up on him after he keeps saying i qualified for a new found.

Called said he was from rogers, I knew it was a scam and i called him on it and he choked,  Started mubbling and tried to recover by asking more questions anyone at rogers would have the info to.

They called tonight on my cell phone claiming to be from Rogers (our cell company) saying that I qualified for a new free phone.  He kept talking when I said I wasn't interested, was quite persistant until I hung up.  

Seconds later he called my husband's phone (which is sequencially right after mine).  Scam, scam, scam!

EAST INDIAN GUY CALLED SAYING A PROMO FOR FREE CELL PHONE

A call from this number to my cell at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning was most annoying. I did not answer the call but am assuming it was the same details as the other postings!

When I answered, I was told it was Telus and that I had qualified to get a free cell phone.

Then he asked how many cell phones were on my account.

There was a long lag on the call which makes me think it's being routed overseas.

I called Telus and a representative was told that it wasn't from Telus!
And that they would flag the number as fraudulent and push it up the chain.

This # has repeating times called my cell # and they never leave a message.  When I call back I get a voicemail to leave a message for '647 722-4797'.
