I got a call about cheap trips to Florida from a woman today.  Claimed that their company was working with Disney but refused to give me any information on their company, even the name.  She was ridiculously pushy to get the credit card information as fast as she could.

Same here. How odd that this all started on today's date. They said I won a trip and wanted my credit card information. When questioned why they wanted my credit card information, they said well, it's not free, but it's a big discount, it's only 249 per adult, kids free. Whatever. Refused to give them credit card information, and they wouldn't give me any more information on their "trip" only that it included 4 night stay for Disney. Whatever.

@Pam I just got a call 15-20 minutes ago! Some woman named "Lourdine" called and said I won a trip, yet I had to pay $249. She asked to confirm my information. She read the fake date of birth I put on surveys or junk, so I knew she wasn't legitimate. She was also screaming on the phone and started laughing randomly. She kept rambling about the trip and how I would "love it." When I asked who she was, she just said I signed up with "Unlimited Travel" for a Florida vacation. She was so annoying and repetitive, that I just hung up on her. She didn't even get to the credit card part yet... what a horrible scammer...

THIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, tax reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number, or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. Report to US Postal Service Inspectors https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

Some lady named, Lourdine, called me 15 minutes ago, asking to confirm in my information. She had my name, date of birth, and marital status. The date of birth she asked me to confirm was the fake one I put for surveys and random junk, so I knew whoever was calling wasn't legitimate. I stayed on the phone anyways to see what she would say. She went on and on about winning some stupid Orlando vacation, but that I had to pay a membership fee of $249. When does winning mean PAYING? She would also start laughing randomly in between. What a weirdo... Apparently I signed up with "Unlimited Travel" but this person is so unprofessional and sounded like she was screaming the entire time. It got too annoying, so I hung up.
