I also received it, I wrote back telling them i had reported it to the FBI as a scam.    THey are obviously on every job search engine ...you would think that the authorities would prosecute them.

Thanks to all of you for posting, if we stick together they will grow less.

I received that same email yesterday & it was very tempting to get my hopes up. It is very sad that in these times my first instinct was to see what kind of scam this was. I don't see how these people can sleep at night. This does little to help my trust issues. Damn you Charles Jameson.

This a$$ contacted me once on craigslist in March and now once on career builder.  In March he sent me a USPS MO.  This time - he just sent me an email.  I was smart enough though.  Now I contacted the FBI.  All you can do is create a complaint on the FBI website.

In March he was James Wilcox, Today he was Charles.  What a joke

Okay, so I confirmed with my bank that the funds WERE received from the other bank and got a signed statement from my bank.  So, I call the guy, Andrew (not real name) Katz, and he says for me to with draw $3600 out of a $3800 check.  So, I did.  I figured if the bank says they got their money then maybe I really DO have a job.  So, I called Andrew back and asked him about the WORK part of it and he said something about 'Thursday'.  Then I said that he needed to give me more information about his company and he said that he already told me it is an IT Consulting company.  I could not get any more information, so at that point I decided I didn't want to play anymore.  So, he told me to go to Western Union and send $2,000 to one guy (I have his contact info) and $1,000 to another guy (I also have his contact info).  So, I told him no.  I told him that I don't mind paying vendors if he is setting up an office, but that I don't feel comfortable wiring the money to anyone.  Then he FLIPPED!  I have turned the information, contacts, emails, text messages, and of course the money, over to the FBI.  I have numerous text messages (with 2 or 3 different phone numbers), various emails, etc.  I am also under police protection.  The last 2 text messages that I got from him was that the info he sent me was 'you Fool...the info I sent you is fake...lol' (info to send money thru Western Union), which I doubt since this money would have really gone to those places so it HAD to be correct,,,,and the last message I got said, "F*** You" (sorry about the language, but those were his exact text words).

Now, does anyone REALLY want to go through what I have just gone through?  naw, I didn't think so.

Yes I did and there seems to be alot more where they came from.  Some of the sites have postings on them and they are not real jobs.  Pay very close attention to who you do apply for.  I have been checking out the company name on the web before I even apply since I received my email from them.

If its a cooperation he would be using a corporate card for all travel arragements .

Amazing how many scams are out there on careerbuilder, indeed and the like. When we expect to get a phone call for a real job, these scammers are actually getting our email addresses to send us spam mail !!!

How sad !!!!
