They call nonstop, when I do get an actual person offering things to me they shouldn't and try to get their info, they always ALWAYS hang up on me.
It simply needs to stop, as I have no credit cards for them to contact me about.

SCAM THEY DO NOT IDENTIFY THEMSELF OR WHO THEY WANT TO TALK TO. A RECORDED MESSAGE PLAYS ASKING IF YOU WANT TO LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATES ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, YET THEY DON'T KNOW YOUR NAME OR WHAT CARDS IF ANY YOU HAVE.

Got a call from them saying that since we have made our credit card payments on time we qualify for a lower interest rate, and babbled on about press this button or that button and then said "Have a nice day" and disconnected. The call sounded like some cheap recording made in someones kitchen with a terrible background echo. The idiots can't even make the call sound legit.

Saw several other reports of charges in excess of $300 from a company with this number, however, my answering machine had a message stating they could lower my interest with the option of pressing 3 to opt out.  First of all, I don't have anything on which I am paying for them to lower my interest; and secondly, I hope the option to opt out actually worked!

The card service scammers WON'T lower the interest rates we pay on our cards, but they sure WILL lower the available credit remaining on our cards, if they fool us into giving them our credit card numbers! BEWARE of these lowlifes, and warn others before they are taken advantage of. They prey mainly on the elderly and the gullible, but are an equal opportunity scammers, and will cheat anyone they can, in their efforts to "earn" a commission to support their drug addictions.

it seems to me that you and george are trying to say the exact same things about the card service scammers but coming at it from different angles.not all criminals are scammers, but all scammers are criminals.there also could be some criminals, scammers and drug addicts that DO obey the do not call list.whether or not they fit into all categories or not, we Do know the card service scammers don't obey the do not call list and are hard to locate and identify because they use spoofed numbers in their efforts to cheat folks.

Organized Crime Much?
Robo-dialers and Cardholder Services just continue to violate TCPA, TSR and the RICO Act-
Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act U.S.C. Title 18, Chapter 96 § 1962:
There are many repeat offender ?cardholder service? operations recycled from previously sued swindlers. The card service ?companies? often change names, call centers, and drop box locations to stay one step ahead of the Law.
Virtually EVERY FTC, FCC and individual State Court Case filed clearly shows how NO SERVICE is ever provided. The ill gotten money is quickly transferred to a foreign entity outside of U.S. jurisdiction. They are usually not registered with the Sec of State in which they operate, and are never registered, or Surety Bonded with the States they robo-threaten, abuse, and harass.
There has to be Felony charges and Prison time implemented against the criminals.

Illegal revenue sharing through foreign ?subsidiaries? generates an illicit profit for the criminals of $.00075 per outbound call where the Caller ID data is successfully transmitted. In telecom jargon, these are called ?dips? into a caller ID database. 5 million dips would generate $3750.00. The telephone company for the consumer who receives the unsolicited telemarketing call must pay for the right to ?dip? into the caller ID database in order to retrieve the ?calling name? information that?s displayed on the phone. Incidentally, the rate of $.00075 per outbound call appears to be a small fraction of the ?dip? fee, suggesting that Pacific Telecom actually reaps most of the profits when an unsolicited call is made.

George, read your post back to yourself...you state these are "drug addicted criminals" and "scammers".  You say these things and then go on to say that they don't obey the do not call list.  Come on...criminals and scammer could care less about the do not call list or if they are breaking the law.  If a business is legitmate and an honest business they will respect the do not call list.

Robocall "You are eligible for a lower rate than you current card offers", when I press 1 it says that no operators are available. Probably just checking if this is a live number.

It is an illegal call.

Got a call from these people today. Caller ID claimed "Customer Rewards" and 650-230-0249. The number may or may not have been spoofed. It Does not matter. Either way the call violates the DNC list. If it was spoofed, then it violates Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009. The fact that the FCC and the FTC can not find these people is pure BS. A few years back, I was the IT Manager for a legitimate Call Center (incoming calls only, except when returning incoming calls) and management knew who most of these people were. They can be tracked by the equipment they buy to use, the number of phone lines, and the phone carriers. Their owners make connections with legitimate companies for various reasons. They have high-turn-around  employees. Those employees talk at their new jobs, often in the same field. Fact is, with our current "business friendly" (read: in bed with) Congress, nothing will ever get done.

Yes I am on a no call list and these people keep calling me all the time every week almost wanting to reduce the interest on my credit cards. I know they are a scam because my credit card companies told me that they do not call you to reduce your interest rates you have to call them. I hope that others that get these calls from these people just hang up like I do and don't give out any information to them.

This # called me.  It came back listing as a private # in Mountain View CA.  I called the # and it says it is from Live Operator.  Don't know if it's been spoofed or not. But from what their website says, they don't look like they're in the business of credit cards.
Their website is Live-Operator.com
