208-758-0230   IC Systems - first called today at 11:39 am asking for someone and sounded very loud background noise  - caller was a man. said the call might be recorded. He was very curt and harsh. Would only ask for a person and asked if I was the spouse.  I said, This sounds weird and I am NOT talking to you. I hung up. I did not answer any questions. Until today, I had never heard of this company.  I will block this caller.  They cannot collect what someone does not have.  Like getting blood from a rock in our case.  We lost everything we had due to a major car accident.  Lucky to have lived in the head on collision with a large OAK tree!  Now having people trying to collect from us is like rubbing salt in a wound.  We went from living in a nice house making a very good living to food stamps and not being able to heat the house we moved to in a terrible place, above 62 degrees in winter.  And the people call wanting sums of money we just do not have. some are even calling for balances like 35.00 - good grief.  They can afford to write off the amount.  If I had an extra 35.00 a month, I would buy brakes or try to get my muffler fixed,  or see a doctor.  no - that would not pay for a doctor -  We cannot afford to run the dishwasher here - not that it works anyway...   Very depressing.   Went from having 4 cars to 1 and 1/2 and a 1991 and the good one 1999.  Both need work.  One needs a windshield.  I am ready to jump from the bridge that crosses the Ohio river.  I am not joking.

That is terriable !!!! I understand the idea but that is stealing!!!! Now the seller is out of money and the item sold. This so wrong and you should not do this under any condition.

Well, given that they are probably the biggest e-commerce crooks around, and seem to GET AWAY with screwing people all over the world without consequence, I have taken it upon myself to relieve them of some $4,000+...Robin Hood Style...and then closing out the bank account, lol....this all after i made sure my buyers were refunded as I refuse to sink to EB/PP's scummy level.

Just thought I'd share my collection of phone numbers from these same people (seems like they have a lot of them), so that you guys may program them into your cell phones and route directly to voicemail :)

This number belongs to IC Systems, a collection agency for PayPal.  If you've got a negative balance with them, expect to get calls from these guys!

tried again to get them to tell me who they are.. guy told me.. and asked for my number so he could figure out why im being called that often.... he said wrong number and i won't get any more calls after tonight?>?? now i'm worried...now if it's a scam??? time to change my number?

The lady that finally got on the line refused to tell me who the company is or what they do until I give them my phone number.. yet they called me? what's up with that?

I have also been recieving calls from them multiple times a day. Very early before 8 am and after 9 pm. thought that was illegal? and on weekends up to 20 times a day.. thought that was illegal too. Every time I answer, it disconnects. No messages left when I miss a call or decide to not answer. When I do answer I don't recieve another call for about 2 hours tho. I finally called the number back, recieved a recorded message telling me they have a business matter with me and will I hold. I waited 4 minutes, then recieved a lady who refused to tell me who they even are.... ??? seriously ?? she asked for my number..well in todays world, if they call me they have my number, and im not giving it back out.. she said she coudn't help me without it. ok.. so my spelling sucks today but im more than miffed.!!!!!!

Yes, I received a ton of calls from this number as well as 5 other numbers traced back to the same bill collectors working on behalf of ebay and paypal. I learned a great trick to get them to stop calling, so pass it on:

Save all of the different numbers in your phone of different bill collectors. Using conference call, speaker and mute, call each one and put them into a five-way conference call with your end muted. Each one asks who is this, can I help you, etc. etc. and then eventually hangs up. As each one hangs up, redial and connect them again. I know they know it's my number calling, and that's good!
Since I've been doing this every few days, they NEVER call me anymore, in fact, it's my hope that they block my number from their system entirely.

Plus, it's funny as crap to hear them try to figure out how they got connected to each other.

Sean...unfortunately its not they can call you on a Sunday..but what you can do is ask who's calling them after they give you there name and then ask them what company do you work for then they tell you and you say oh I'm sorry i don't do business on holidays or weekends call me Monday and say thank you and hang the the up that drives them crazy

They just called me at 9:20 am on a SUNDAY!  That is illegal on a SUNDAY is it not?  Of so what should I do?

as we all know dealing with people that are, for all intensive purposes (annoymous). you somewhat take your chances on being ripped off or taken advantage of. true some people take advantage of this,however I have to say with the exception of one creep who did in fact take advantage of the paypal system to screw me... ohh and BTW depending on where your located.. some police officers will look at you and say "well how do we know (you) didnt take the item out of the box?" point being, they are no help to you! Every single other peron I have ever done busisness with has been fair and down right pleasant. it seems to me the problems with Ebay and paypal is that there is absolutley no security for the seller... you would think a multi billion dollar outfit would realize if the sells bail , you have no company!!! hense no outfit to embezzle from... I think (john donahoe) (owner of Ebay and paypal) need to do alittle prison time!!!

I got a new number from Vonage about six months ago, and ever since IC Systems has called it 3-6 times a day, seven days a week, month in and month out.  The first few times they left messages for someone I never heard of.  I bought a TrueCall unit from an outfit in the UK, and now my phone never rings when these idiots call.  It's amazing we can't get the FCC, FTC or the Fair Credit Collections Practices Act to protect us from these thugs.

Paypal using IC Systems to call me for $29.95 for shoes I bought on E-Bay. Shoes I got were size 8 on left and size 6 for right. I returned to shipper after emailing her for a matching size 6 but she didn't have one. She wanted to send me a matching size 8 but that is too large. So I sent both shoes back to shipper and got credit card company to credit my account. Shipper said I should have waited because she would have gotten in a size 6 from Hong Kong in 60 to 90 days. I ahve no shoes because they went back and now this company harrasses me. This must stop and I will call authorities. I cancelled my Paypal and EBAY accounts.

No Idea what scam it is.

My paypal balance is zero and I have a perfect record with them and their owners ebay.  There is no reason for me to be harassed up to 10 times a day by these people.

I have a paper from Paypal saying that Case is closed and I owe nothing, but yet now they say I owe them money. this is after I sent an item to a guy and he sent me back a box without the item. Paypal told me they will take care of any charge backs and later said it wasn't thier problem.

Someone hacked into my Paypal account and fraudulently sold and bought items under my sign-in.  I don't even have an Ebay sellers account and I haven't bought anything on Ebay in years.  I talked to Paypal and they acknowledged that this was a fraudulent act but they still say that I have a negative balance.  I don't even have a bank account or current credit card attached to the account, so how could I have a negative balance?  They are trying to charge me for fees fraudulent sales and purchases.  I will never attach a bank account or credit card to Paypal, since they have such poor security.  Even the collection agency said that it was a fraudulent claim.

They called and left a message wanting me to contact them about an "important business matter".  They only say they are a collection agency.  They neither say what company they represent nor do they give me a case number to refer to when I call.

I had a 25.00 neg balance with paypal, which I resolved. I have a balance now of zero, and soon to be a positive amount but these people call me 6 or 7 times a day, I don't even answer it. But its starting to get annoying. I am going to pick up and tell them I have no balance with paypal and to stop harrising me. They call before 8am my local time which is in violation of regulation Z and they also call all day sunday!

IC Systems... they call upwards of 10-15 times per day. I owe ebay like 65.00 in seller fees, from a store I never had! I tried to fight it with ebay, who had already turned it into IC systems, and IC systems refuses to work with anyone.
