I received a call on my cell phone telling me they were from my cell provider and that my account is now past due and due for shut down in the next 48 hours.  As I do not receive calls from my cell provider regarding my bill, I just receive text messages and why would my provider who is in a different state then mine call from a local number.  I guess I have just gotten leary of these types of calls.  So I called my provider and they said they do not call and they did not have an issue with my account.  So I dialed the number and it leads you to believe you are calling the finance office of the provider and asks you to pay the 'past due' amount to avoid phone service shutdown and a restart fee.  The voice is male and my provider has a female voice.  Please everyone be aware there is another get your credit card or bank information scam out there and call your actual customer service number not the one they give you to get the REAL information on your account.
