Same nuisance calls, day in and day out. The Do Not Call List is a joke, like the rest of the US government systems. Just stealing money from the Treasury and serve no purpose. Even Al Franken doesn't care that his name is being associated with this. Politicians have no time to do their jobs, just figure out ways to manipulate money into their own pockets.

It's disgraceful the way politics is played these days. It isn't necessarily Franken's, or any politicians', fault. This is our fault for not demanding public financing of elections.

Get the private money out of our politics!

They pronounced my name badly - which meant they totally don't know me - and then asked for money. I told them I don't donate over the phone and he became very angry, told me this was the safest way to donate. Not sure who I am donating too, though, he was talking too fast to ever get that clear.

Seriously? Six calls in less than a week? As I have repeatedly told your people who are looking for "John", no one with that name has ever lived here.  
Despite requesting to be taken off your calling list numerous times, we have continuously been harassed for over year as much as twice a day.
Today I answered the phone and expressed my annoyance and ask to be taken off your calling list. I was shocked when the caller addressed me by my name and told me to calm down, he was just looking for John on your behalf. How dare you! The next call we receive from you, a formal and public restraining order will be filed.

A hang up on a taped message doesn't send a message to anyone.  Just call and request to be removed.

Sounds like someone trying to sabotage the Al Franken Campaign.

I called the number back and they had a recording that said they were Donor Services Group on behalf of Al Franken. Then I waited for an operator and told her to put me on the do not call list. Then I asked her if they were REALLY calling on behalf of Al Franken and she said yes. And she said "Are You a Member of Al Franken?" and I asked "Do you even know what Al Franken is???" and she "Are You A Member of Al Franken?" I said just be sure I'm on the do not call list and hung upl

It amazes me that people think this is the way to communicate with the calling party to complain.

we have received one call a day for the last three days which were ID'd as "Al Franken", don't remember if it was this number or not. Today this number came in as ID "unavailable". In all cases, no message left, we did not pick up.
We NEVER answer out-of-state "unavailable" calls, because they are always pleas for money or outright scams. Sometimes they leave a message, mostly they don't.

I finally picked up from this number and it was a very kind English gentleman asking for more support fro me for Al Franken's fight.  It didn't take long, so do it!

Donor Services Group http://www.donorservicesgroup.com in or around Palmdale, California.  Call center provider retained by non-profits for fund-raising.  This isn't a call from an authorized Al Franken representative but a non-profit endorsed by Franken that is using his name to mislead potential donors.  Report to Ethics Committee, Franken office, and SEC -- non-profits contracting with a company mis-using an elected official's name can lose their non-profit status.

It's not a "frame" call. I was there the day DSG got the job, so to speak. Al Franken spoke to all of us over a speaker phone. Because DSG gets paid per contact, by not answering the phone you are ensuring that you will get another one. If you answer the phone and say you're not home, that also ensures another call. As I said, they are paid per contact. If you talk to them they will be paid whether you donate or not. The best way to stop the calls is to answer the phone and ask to be taken off the list. If you ask, they will do it. Doing that will remove you from the Al Franken list. It does not remove you from any of the other charities you may have donated to that DSG fundraises for. In other words you will have to do each organization individually as the calls come in.

I no longer work there. The people I worked with were great people, but the job was the most stressful, depressing thing I've ever done. I'm unemployed right now, but I am no longer having anxiety attacks when it's time to go to work.

It actually seems like a "frame" call for Al Franken -- i.e. a nuisance call to get people enraged over Al Franken.  I actually have donated to Mr. Franken's campaign via his email campaigns, and I don't think he uses an unsolicited phone service, so it's either a scammer trying to seem "legit" or a right-wing opponent of Al Franken.

How can I make this stop!!!!

It's a fundraising service operating for Senator Franken. I called the number and politely asked that the calls stop. They were very gracious, very polite, and very apologetic. One pleasant thirty-second phone call was all it took to put an end to the robocalls.

I;ve recevied a number of hangup calls from this number.  Franken is too smart to pay people to do this to his campaign.  Only an opponent would benefit from such behavior, so it's probably an opponent who is behind this harassment.

Frequent calls from this number out of Newhall CA...no message is ever left.  I called the number, and it was
identified as a fundraising organization for Al Franken.  I let it ring a long long time..finally was given option to leave a message as "call volume is high".  I left a message saying that I support Al Franken, but prefer to do so on the internet. I told them that I feel that their calling procedures are really doing a disservice to Senator Franken, and that I would have felt differently had they been courteous enough to leave a message, rather than simply calling us 2 or 3 times a day.

Seriously? Seventeen calls in thirty days--at one point every day for four days!? I will never. Ever send you money, even though I completely support and admire Al Franken.

Called them.  They said they were donor services group on behalf of Al Franken.  I asked to be removed from their list.  The person claimed it would be processed in 12 to 24 hours.

I have received numerous calls from this number. I do not answer it, and whoever is calling does not leave a voice mail.

Got a third call from this number, picked up, it went beep beep beep and disconnected. Idiot junk call.

This is not a call from Al Franken's campaign.  If the answering machine picks up, they hang up and leave no message.  If you answer, there is no one on the line.  I called the number back and the person who answered identified himself as from Donor Services Group on Behalf of Al Franken.  When I asked him if they were deliberately trying to sabotage Al Franken, he said that he wasn't actually from donor services, I had just reached the call center, whatever that is.  No reputable fund raising unit for a political campaign would behave this way.

Donor Services Group on Behalf of Al Franken has called me daily for the past 3 weeks, with a recording which  I immediately hang up on.

I will never EVER EVER EVER donate 1/10 of a cent to Donor Services Group NOR will ever support Al Franken.

I hate you all. What makes you think it's ok to interrupt me like this, without concern for my interest in or willingness to listen to your message?

A hangup on any taped message should be construed as a "take me off your %*^&*&!!! call list."
