i got this call today... scare me! they told me that i owe them 300 dollars.. im disabled (deaf) so they says that i have 2 cases in court from there but not in united states.. they says that if i put 300 dollars in fax then they says that i dont have to go to court huh? then at first thing, they called me again and i told them that i think somethings wrong and i can call police and ask them to investgation somehow they got scared says "take care bye" hung up on me.. i think it's SCAM so should i report or what?? at first thing, they says they were from india then at second thing, they says that they were from thailand.. confused me... please help me! thanks...

this number called me saying charges are pending on me if i dont hand them 500 bucks  and they wanted my card number and a letter faxed to them saying i will not dispute this payment and that its from a online payday loan. I called and they said no what are u talking bout. They said its thru us bank and i said us bank does not do payday loans. The guy that called said his name is david cooper then he said his name was brain.  i look this number up and to my suprize people have the same problem from this number. I recieved the a call from this no. also. They will not stop calling. I have told them to stop and they just keep telling me I am going to be arrested. I am disabled and it has stressed me out so much. I have called and reported them to are sheriffs dept., and they are starting an investagation on them also.

This number repeatedly calls my house and cell phone number. They say I have a payday loan thru them and that I need to have my lawyer call them back. Well. I dont have any payday loans thru them or anyone else. I will be calling the FTC and reporting them.

I just recorded the whole entire conversation and I am gonna see what can be done they called my house number and told me that I would be locked up. I never had a payday loan and or any loan. they said that I would have to go to court and a whole bunch of other crap

This number called my wife from 661 532 8208 claiming they had a law suit pending against my wife. They are answering as a Lawyers group in Ca. We called the Oregon Attorney generals office and they have received several of these complaints from this same phone number. It's some sort of scam. I called this number back and told them they could call the AG office and I was disconnected. I tried calling again and all it does is go to a message from someone with a heavy foreign accent. Beware!

Received this call today, They are SCAM artist and there was information on my local news about these people. I reported them to the attorney general and local authorities. In the United States their is no debtor prison and they can't lock you up if you owe money. Research will show they were shut down and they are calling from India with various U.S lines. Califonia, Florida and so on. Ask them who they are and to send you paper work with written documentation and they will go away. Do not be intimmidated.

I just heard from these dritbags and I called my banks and my loans out and it was none of them, I looked up this number and BINGO! There all fakes! And the need to get a life instead of preying on hard working americans, don't believe a word they say!

Its a scam.  Do nothing.  Don't give them any money.

Did you start to apply for a loan on line, enter information, then change your mind?  They may have gotten your information from there.  Or maybe a real loan place you have used had their computer system hacked and the hackers stole your information.

I got a number like 6615885074 and it sounds like the same people calling and the said i owe threw Payday Cash and said i would go to jail if i didnt pay them the money i am scared to death i didnt get any cash advance and they knew so much about me like my name last four of my social were i worked and my number how do they get these things

i get calls similer to the mesedges above only aparently i havent payd my credit card bills and all this stuff and im only 15 so i dont even have a fricking credit card. i got other types of these scams to at one point it got so bad i would get 10+ calls a day and i ended up removing my batery and throwing my cell at the wall and i didnt use it for a month its not that ban anymore maybe 1-3 times a month :/ actualy i typed in (780) 532-8208 to find out wear my friend lives his number is the same exept for the erea code stuff lol but in the end what whould the world do withought spam

The same thing happened to me today like 16 times they called my home rambling about fraud etc. Never did tell me an amount I owed.  I asked him where he was calling from he told me my fathers house LMAO. I told them I?m sure I?m whiter than their teeth because I knew they were foreigners.  I?m mean I will admit I cussed them back he asked me if I sucked.  I told them he had to have something first.  Called an office that I found when researching these phone numbers they know they are fraud.  And believe some people here in America do send them money.  How stupid can people be? This is why they keep calling us.  Wish they was smarter about our legal system.  Maybe they should come here on their camels.  See how far they get bet they would get shot.

Exact same thing happend to my husband that everyone else is saying. Someone by the name of David Johnson called. Wished him good luck if he didn't have an attorney, and said authorities would be picking him up on Tuesday.

that number called me today in eary afternoon i let him ramble on and when he was done running his mouth i told him " oh by the way i know who you are and were you are calling from an hell i see you sitting at the table on the phone. then he replied if you know were please tell me i told him hes in a small town in the desert of california calld marhiea he started to get agravated an wanted to know how i fond out i said my brother inlaw is fbi and is getting a warrent to come an arrest you for all kinds of crimes he hung up at once hell this country shouldnt let people from the middle east or india be the ones to solicite or bill collect iam a firm belever in they need to be american an speek english.

My sister got one yesterday and called me upset and then I got one today.  He actually called me @ work on a government phone.  I even informed the idiot that this was a Federal Agency and he just keep threatening me.  Said they would be picking me up from work at 11am tomorrow (Saturday) morning.  I told him I am off on Saturdays could they pick me up on Monday.  He asked me why was I being so smart.  I then proceeded to tell him I needed a name for the Guard so that they could get in.  He kept right on talking.  I then said screw this s**t.  FU and your higher authority.  He then laughed and I hung up.  LOL  I think I need to go to Happy Hour now.  I did file a compliant on both of the numbers.  If you see these numbers, just disregard:  661-532-8208-The Law Group of California and Payday Loans Investigative Unit-508-348-9254.  This one is in Massachusetts.

I also received the same phone call yesterday from this guy stating I had a loan with payday loans and I would be in jail by monday.  The thing that freaks me out is that he now has my SSN, Bank Account Number, my email address, names of my close friends, my cell phone and work numbers.  What do we need to do to keep him from getting loans in our names?  He has enough information on all of us to steal our identity and turn our worlds up side down.....Does anyone know what to do???????

I received a threatening message from the above number, stating that I needed to return this call or have my lawyer contact them, and, "good luck," It was a foreign guy, and I could hardly make out everything he said. When I tried calling the # back, it didn't even ring, and when I tried calling a second time, the # had been disconnected, or was no longer in service. Then, shortly there after I received a phone call from Payday Cash Loan, and I proceeded to inform them, that I did not have a loan, hung up, and called them back, and informed them that I had notified the police. In turn, they put me on hold, and never got back with me.That # was1-800-460-4352.

I recieved the same call. I had me so up set. But I did call sheriffs dept. and report it.

Received harassing telephone call from 661 532 8208 - informed me last name was Anderson - but had a horrible accent.  Asked for a person with a name similar to mine - but we had such a bad connection - static etc. that who could really call.  I let him know he had a bad connection and a bad number - he called back twice anyway within minutes.  During second call he informed me he worked for some attorney office and they were "sending" the police to my house.  Really?  Maybe the attorney he "works" for should perhaps let him know that in this country threats of that nature are illegal.  Good grief.  I don't have any debt of any sort.  Took the plunge 25 years ago and made a pledge to my parents to NEVER take out any plastic credit and to always save and pay rather than buy now and pay and pay and pay later.

I had the same call as well...these people are crazy!!!! My callers name was Jason, and his lawyers name was Jack Lawson (Both west indies )  !!! These idiots are ridiculous!
