I have gotten 12 calls from this # in the last 5 days. They NEVER leave a message and no one is ever ther when I call back

I keep getting calls from 678-331-7261 (CBE Group).  They call both my cell and work non-stop.

Keeps calling my cell phone.  Don't know who it is.

Thanks for the info. Everytime I call back its a voice mail and to make matters worse they are speaking in another language; sound much like India.

Just got this call for the first time today, didn't pick up since number was way out of the ball park for me in recognizing it. Looked it up, and joy oh joy...debt collectors? I have no outstanding anything. Not a student, no medical visits, no credit cards to pay off, no utilities outstanding, simply nothing..... but I still don't want to pick it up to find out who they want.

A friend gets a call every single day, been close to a year now. Same type of thing, except they leave a message asking for somebody who doesn't exist. He's tried to tell them 'no' but they don't stop.

My wife called me at work and I guess this number has called asking for me several times. They only say CBE Group. This last time today they asked for me and my wife said I am his wife they asked for her name and she refused to give that to them. Same stuff will not leave a message or say anything as to what it is in regards to. If they are a collection agency I have no outstanding bills unless I have had my identity stolen.
If my identity has been compromised what is the best way to go about looking in to that to see if that is what happened? There was another person in my town that had the same name but I know they have moved years ago but he was older and retired.

Today was first time for this number from CBE group it was from another number in Iowa 2 days ago. I don't answer either .
Maybe the calls will disappear as fast as they appeared.

Called them and they had my cell phone number for someone else they were trying to reach.  They removed my cell phone from their system.  If they tell you, you are not in there have the recheck.  She said my number wasn't in their system and I said they just called me.  She checked the system again - did a "full system check" and found my number and removed it.

Keeps calling me.  I have no debt to collect.

It was for someone I don't know.  They did probe for who I am.  I told them it doesn't matter, whether it is a right number or not they have been ceased and desisted.  She said she would remove the number.

I'm a former debt collector.  I get calls from this several times a day.  If you do answer it, tell them that you want for them to cease and desist contact with your number.  If they probe for your name, say it doesn't matter and if you get any more calls from this number, you will be passing it on to your attorney.  I'm calling them now to cease and desist them now.

These people have called me every morning for the last month or so. Today I actually could answer as it was before work and the recording asked for "Jeffrey Thompson." I don't know anyone by that name (I don?t even know any Jeffreys) so I pressed 2 (for incorrect calls) and almost immediately a woman representative came on. She asked for Jeffrey again and I told her that I don?t know anyone by that name. She seemed very apologetic and said that she'd remove my number from their records but, after reading the horror stories here, I really doubt that she will. I probably shouldn?t have answer. Anyway, I finally added the number to my phone under "DON'T ANSWER" so if they call again I'll know to ignore the call. Luckily they always call around the same time.

These jerks never leave a message so they won't get a return call.
I don't conduct personal business on the telephone anyway and my phone logs every call from these people.

Harassing people over debts is against the law.

I will be forwarding my call log to the FTC and my State Attorney General.

These people keep calling me early in the morning around 8:30AM (probably as it's the earliest they can legally call or something) and I never pick up so they never leave a message. I do NOT have any outstanding debts as far as I know except for my students loans in CURRENT FORBEARANCE. HOWEVER, my older brother gave me my phone and HE has a lot of debt so the calls may be for him. Either way, I won?t answer. If they want to talk to me they can leave a message like everyone else.

Every hospital.  In an emergency, they can't always get the information they need right away.  What if the person they are treating in unconscious?  Does the hospital decided that since they don't have there information they'll just let them lay outside on the sidewalk until they come to so they can make sure they have insurance and a billable address before they help them?  Even some one who is homeless and has no way to pay their bill is treated in an emergency.  Obviously, they should have gotten your information at some point but yes, you should have checked on why you didn't get a bill or hear anything from the hospital or your insurance agent afterwards.

I am a cancer survivor as well and receive calls from this CBE company as well. They call at the worst times and never leave a msg. Yes, its a collections call, but I shocked that they can call my cell as much as they do, I am not going to pay that bill, my insurance shouldve and it didn't! I am not going to pay it, so I shouldn't keep getting the calls, because Im never gonna pay it so report it to credit, it's already dead!

They are calling and very rude!! They just tell at you! For you not being that person!
Cause when you call back the number, they ask for your account number. So that's why I believe it's an Bill-Debt collector.
