EWA calls me endlessly, they refuse to mail me anything. I advised if they are a credible collection agency. They have to mail me something, answer is always "no we dont" the story has changed 5 times since they have called they won't give me an amount of this bill I need to pay, just demanding I give them a check or debit card. The last call the guy cussed me out and kept yelling lawyer up, lawyer up you best lawyer up bi***, wtf. I've absolutely had it,  they have stressed me out so bad. FYI to EWA - Epstein, Weinberg & associates (morons) if you read these The attorney General's office was called again, they advised me again you are a SCAM!! So f off!

I was getting constant  annoying calls from an operation asking for somebody I never heard of. They refuse to listen to me when I tell them they have the wrong number. I don't know why I should be stuck with phone calls for somebody I never hear of.

Yes, it is a scam when people are told they have to "call back to make a statement".  Why?  Because if you're being sued, you hear about it via USPS mail/certified or registered or via a process server.  NOT through a telephone call.  And lots of people get calls even when they do NOT owe any money!  So back off from the CAPS LOCK KEY and quit ASSuming that the only people who get scam or collection calls are in debt!

Why should I even be called if I do not have a debt?  Is your company that @ss backwards?????

IT'S NOT A SCAM. COLLECTION AGENTS CONTACT YOU WHEN YOU DON'T PAY YOUR BILLS!!!!! POINT BLANK PERIOD....If they are asking for you to wire the money to a person, NOT A COMPANY, and if they ask you to get a moneypak card where you have to scratch the numbers off the back of the card, then it is a SCAM. AGAIN, PAY YOUR BILLS, PAY BACK YOUR LOANS, AND PAY OFF YOU CREDIT CARDS. Then you won't have to tell someone who is only doing their job that they are taking part in some kind of scam. COLLECTORS GET PAID TO CONTACT YOU WHEN YOU OWE MONEY!

I work for a county govt office and I receoveived a call today from someone hysterically crying and desperate for help because these people had been calling her all morning telling her they are the FBIand she had untiil 1pm to pay or she would be arrested!!!  That is so sad!!  I told her the FBI will never call to collect money and to stop answering her phone.

I got a call from here stating I committed check fraud & legal action will be taken but nobody answered when I called this number back!

Got a call from them this morning-  said they were Weinberg and Associates-  TOTAL SCAM!!  They claim I was in Georgia and that I got a payday loan and some other crazy nonsense... never been to Georgia in my life. My husband got the same call before and they want your money.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.  My husband and I both filed police reports regarding this and police told us it was most likely a scam.  They threaten you on the phone with arrest and prison time-  horrible people.

I received a call from these people - stating that I owed a payday loan and that I was going to be arrested, etc.  She read some ss# that did not match mine.  Then the women who stated that she was some private investigator looking for me.  I laughed and calmly stated to her that I was not that person and that she needed to get the person who has the same name as my maiden name and do not call me again.  This is the 2nd time these people called my family looking for me and I want it to stop.  What else can be done to stop this?

I have received 5 phone calls on my cell phone today and I don't know ANYONE who lives in Georgia or how they would have got my cell phone number.

I got a recording when I answered that said there was an urgent message for me, and to press 1 to speak to an associate. I hung up

I received a call about a month and a half ago from a similar company. They even went as far ti tell me I hsd a warrant and was going to be arrested! Scared the crap outta me. Luckily I googled the phone number and it was a scam. Now this morning I have received 3 valls from this Wineberg and Associates saying the same thing! I told them I am aware that this is a scam and they are wasting their time trying to get money from me and then the "attorney" called me a B**** and told me I was a low life who wrote bad checks and that I deserve to go to prison. Yeah I am quite fed up with these damn scammers!

These people have called everyone in my family. I have no debt, not even a checking account for the simple fact that I believe they are useless. Why write a check when money is not there? But I digress. Every 2 months, some different "Investigator" calls and states that I am in the process of being arrested for outstanding check fraud. They basically shuffle the phone around and elude you to believe they have contacted your local authorities to arrest you. Seeing that my area code is not even where I live currently, I laughed. I waited until he called me a worthless check writing son of a ****** and then asked if he was an attorney. He said he was as well as an investigator. I then began reading him The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and he became irate and called me all types of names and told me "You must be having a bad day- your wife left?" When I asked if I could get the physical address. He yelled at me and then hung up. I continued to call them for about 20 minutes, he continued to yell and curse every time he picked up. "Officer Fox". He was a detective one minute, then investigator. Tomorrow he may wake up and be the Easter Bunny. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! NO MONEY OR ANYTHING. Do as I did, notify the BBB, the Georgia Attorney General and the Attorney General in which you live. Atlanta Police Dept is aware, and they reportedly change their number every few weeks with each influx of fraudulent cases they attempt to collect on.

I am so done with these loser scammers.  I owe no money to no one.  I have no idea why they are calling me and don't care.  They are non-existent and I have checked them out with attorney's so I can sue them for harassment charges but can't because by time you serve them they relocate and move around.  They funny part is any time scammer calls you their addresses are usually vacant homes for sale or lease.  

Next time scammer calls get their address it's hysterical due a satellite arial view and find out where they are - usually vacant or borrow address.  OMG they are pathetic.  I sure hope they get caught.  I have reported for FBI and have any numbers put on call blocker now.  But the second you get a number and call like this - report to FBI IC3 immediately and they cease and then a month later start and then I just resubmit new number they use.  Hope this helps.  As attorney said don't pay a dime to them.

Got a call this morning from the same number, it was a pre-recorded message saying it was some legal company and to press X number to be connected, I hung up.  Why won't the government due something about people like this and also spammers.  Spammers are more of a nuisance because the clutter up you inbox and SPAM box to where you have to skim over quickly and mass delete.  Having had to do this I have accidently deleted emails that weren't SPAM
