I gree with the first report except my voice message said that according to the DMV I had overpaid my insurance.  Didn't say they were the DMV nor did they say I overpaid my DMV fees

This is all part of FBI surveillance to track where you are.

Just got a call from this number I always google unknown numbers before answering - found this thread didnt answer it but i should give out their number from now on when signing up for spam stuff or when they ask for my phone number while shopping

If you have iPhone. The new iOS 7 has featured "BLOCKED" in the phone. To blocked  you need to create a contact for that number, save as maybe name "unsolicited 1" then go to setting, go to phone, then go to blocked, then it will says "add new"...VOILA!!!! you blocked that number.... Hope this helps for futures unwanted calls.

Got a call from this number in my cell phone, no message. I called back, it was a telemarketer for auto insurance, I told them to remove my number from their list, and they hung up on me

This number called my cell phone number - I answered and no response.  When calling back a machine states "nobody available to take your call at the moment." Thanks for burning my minutes!

SCAM - Recorded message that says calling based on information from drivers license bureau that you may be overpaying for insurance.

received call stating it was a "public service announcement" and that I was paying too much for car insurance.  When I attempted to speak to someone to determine where it would lead, a person answered
and I was asked something that wasn't quite clear, and I responded that I had received a call from them, the person hung up.

Just received a call from this number. Conveniently did not leave a msg.

Got a call from this company on my cell. Thinking it was my doctor's office due to the local area code, I called back. I was greeted with the options of pressing 1 to "speak to a live representative about saving hundreds of dollars on car insurance" or pressing 3 to remove your number from the call registry.  Pressing 3 gets you the pre-recorded message of "I'm sorry that isn't a valid extension" and it disconnects you.  Pressing one brings you to a live operator, who instantly hangs up if you say anything expressing displeasure at being robo-called on a cell phone (illegal).

Robocall that suggests they are with the DMV but are trying to sell you auto insurance.

Same deal as above.  Made a FCC complaint claim.  Operator hung up after I asked for her supervisor.  I called them back about 10 times until they wouldn't answer the phone.  I guess they blocked my number :)

Scammers! They leave no voice mail if you dont answer.  I am on DO NOT CALL Register and am filing a complaint aginast tis number

This is a robocall from Insurance Company to attempt give you a quotation.

Just got two calls from this number.  I did not answer.

How in the hell do you think anyone would know who you are and what your number is.   Make your request to whomever your caller.
