Well, these days they appear to be a contracting agency staffing software people. I just got a call AND a message.

They left a message, I could hear breathing and a keyboard tapping in the background - then hung up.  When I called the number back it "had been disconnected and is no longer in service".  Obviously one-way phone sales.

I'm from UK & i got a call from 1-678-905-2223 is this linked to this company?

Microsoft Azure, checking to see if I had any questions about a trial subscription I recently signed up for.

Called today and the man ask me my email.....??

Would make sense... they called asking "Hello, is Althexia there?" And i went "she's asleep hold on" and hung up o-o. tried to call back, and nothing.

Got a call from this US-based number today to my UK-based cellphone.  I didn't pick up.  Came to this site searching for more info and glad I didn't pick up now.

I received the call as well, and did sign up for the Trial of Microsoft Windows Azure. And seeing as to how Microsoft has a large Campus not far from me in Atlanta, it makes sense in regards to a (678) Prefix. But however, they did NOT leave a message and when I called back I got the typical error message because it was sent from a trunk line of sorts. I'm registered for their Boot Camp so maybe I'll pass along some of the suggestions in person. The time zone one seems like a "no brainer" - just silly that their auto dialer can't pick up on that.

I did sign up for Azure, so not surprised Microsoft was calling about it.

Someone called me at work with this number, no one left me a message. I was not able to pick up this call. I'm located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

It's for Microsoft's Azure. Legitimate in my case.

Called me at 4 in the morning and again just now. I'm in the UK and as others above have an Azure account. Pretty annoyed at their lack of consideration of timezones.

This is definitely Microsoft or someone acting on their behalf regarding Windows Azure Platform.

I spoke to nice American Lady but told her call was inconvenient which it was, and she was welcome to call me back in 10mins (but never did)

I have cancelled my trials, so this may have been a sales call, or perhaps just a survey type call possibly.

Didn't answer or leave a message.  But I also have an Azure account so I assume it's them.

Called today and I didn't answer. I also just signed up for the Windows Azure trial hosting from Microsoft as others indicated. It seems legitimate in this case

called today on my business phone and a voice said the call was from Microsoft. I immediately hung up as it is definitely a scam.

Called on my business phone. I live in Norway. No one answered. Just hung up after a few seconds.

Called while I was in class, didn't answer. No message.

I get a couple a day for the last couple weeks on my business phone!

called this morning, answered on mute..women said "hello hello" and hung up.

I'm a receptionist and this guy keeps calling providing various names, mostly of people who don't work here.  I won't pick up the phone anymore when he calls.  I also tried calling the number back and just get the message that the number doesn't work as dialed.  Maybe he'll get the hint and just  stop trying.

Received a call today from that number. I didn't answer as I'm living in Europe and I don't see any reason to receive call from USA.

Four days of no calls from this number but then another two today.  I didn't answer either, no messages left by caller.

I got two calls from this number today; I answered neither and the caller left no message.
