I got a text from this number and thought it was legit. it was an ad from craigslist and the person was wanting to buy my car from me. come to find out he wouldn't accept a cashiers check and wanted to pay through paypal and was wanting to send a uhaul to me within minutes to pick up my car from me. luckily I called paypal and they said they could not secure the money. I messaged the guy back and asked him to send me a cashiers check instead, and I have not heard from him since.
Paypal suggests if you ever want to sell a car, sell it cash and/or face-to-face! They can not secure the money.
