they called my unlisted number??? How do I report this?

This is a government number to record your voice to put into a "voice recognition" database for potential "dissidents",,,

I got this call out of the blue on a phone that is rarely used and only a few family members have the number. This number is not listed on any website so I am confused as to how it was aquired.

Ivitrix Travel.  Woman with an Indian accent.

They are harvesting phone numbers from Craigslist ads.  That is the ONLY place the number they called is used.  I am on the Do Not Call list so they are not scrubbing the numbers they call.  They probably have a bot running that grabs any phone number that appears in a Craigslist ad then feeds it to their (overseas) telemarketers.

Live in CA., have never posted on Craig's List.  Got the call at 7:04pm on a Sunday. I didn't answer and no message was left.

These are spammers. Called me and told me that they are not trying to sell me anything whatsoever and they are giving away a free accomodation to couples and they are located in concord california
After talking for about a couple of minutes about the company, she asked me if how old I am so she can make sure I am not a minor. I responded 31 so she said they this promotion is for people 35 and under 75 so I do not qualify for this promotion but asked if she can call me next week if they have a promotion for age group!! this IS A SPAM...DO NOT TALK TO THEM THEY ARE TRYING TO get some information about you and your partner then put you in their database and call you to sell you something.

I have received a few calls from them this week. No VM. I generally dont pick up such random numbers.

This has to be some way for this kind of unwanted call. I receive the call three times today. The third time i picked up the call and the party from the other side did not talk at all.

got a canned call from this. Tried to call back but was a recording

I just got call from this number, saying they were calling from Carlsbad, CA (I live in San DIego, 30 minutes south of Carlsbad) 701 is not that area code for Carlsbad. They were offering a vacation package, free airfare, blah, blah, blah. I kept pressing about how they got my phone number, I don't put my number on craigslist or any promotional sing ups, and my number is on the national do not call registry. they said i gave them my number through a promotion affiliated with HIlton Garden Inn, I have never stayed with HIlton since I work for a competitor and have better rates with my company. I kept asking for a supervisor and they apologized and put my on hold which disconnected a few moments later. Calling back is useless, as it will not connect to anything it just asks you to press 1 to be removed from their list.

Just got a call from these LOSERS.  Said they were with Sheraton "travel agency" a new program.  When I ask to please be removed from their list, they hung up.  It wasn't the first time either.  I called Sheraton immediately to complain and gave the phone number that called me....  Sheraton has more resources than I to stop this.

I am on the DO NOT CALL list, yet they get away with this over and over again.  I say their fingers should be broken and then throw them in jail.

I have been getting harrassing phone calls from this number for well over a year, even though I'm on the do not call list.  I have asked them repeatedly to NOT call again, to remove my number, but they still call almost every night, sometimes five times in the same night.

These MF's called me on my cell phone. Twice in five minutes.  No message.  I suspect the phone numbers get sold when you enter a raffle or some other event where you write your phone number for "contact" purposes.  I think this number also comes up on my home phone.

My rule for telemarketers: "If I don't have it already, I must not want it."

Got a call from this number. They left no voice mail. The consensus seems to be that they're some kind of scam.

no idea who these guys were ... he said he was from La Jolla hotel or something like that and that my wife and i had won a free round trip airline ticket to anywhere in the US ... "Isn't that wonderful?" ... he said with a english is my second language accent.  About this point my BS flag stared going up and I asked him who he was and where he was ... there was a lot of noise in the background like other people talking or something ... he repeated that he was in La Jolla and asked where I was  ... that tore it ... " no thank you ... goodbye!"  Then I hung up.  I tried to call the number back ... and got the "we're sorry all the circuits are full ... please try your call again later" canned response.
