Got a call and they didn't realize the phone was live, they had a conversation about 5 minutes about brazilian bikini waxes and hair color and used profanity as well. Not sure who these people are but I see why they have a job not in the public eye.

Left message on my machine - male voice said Hello?  and you can hear a whispered voice say "do they have little children"?  Very creepy.  Keeping my kids inside.

Called by a service saying I was selected for a free vacation claiming to have hand picked me from many applicants.  Then asked if I was over 21. I politely said I wasn't interested and I then hung up.

I got phone call from it - said Federal Recovery Group, asking for someone who does not live here.  I've told them seven times to quit harassing me, the person they are calling does not live here, and I'm sick of their phone calls.  Was just told to report them to Attorney General's office, will do first thing Monday morning.  jerks  

the only thing worse than someone who doesn't pay bills, are companies like these that buy old, bad bills and then harass the heck out of anyone with the same last name.  Mine isn't even same last name, it was my name before I got married, yet they STILL harass me.

I had a call from this number and inadvertently picked up - caller said I had won a free vacation  to Florida. I told her I could not make it but as her company was being so genereous she was welcome to go in my place and to tell her boss I said so, and I wished her a great time - there was a short silence then she started to speak and I put the phone down.

They call me 3 times a  week, but I haven't bothered to answer the phone.  Today I decided to answer it, and I stayed quiet.  I could hear voices in the background, might of been a TV that was on.  A minute after I was listening, a lady's voice said "Hello?" and I hung up on her.  She sounds pretty young, probably in her mid 20's.
They never leave a voice message either.

A Lady asked for my VP, When I asked if I could tell him who is calling she hung up.

RECEIVED A CALL TODAY REFERENCE TO A VACATION FOR 4 AND WAS I OVER 25 I SAID I WAS NOT INTERESTED AND HUNG UP

I do not want this number keep calling me. They call me non stop.

Four Star Vacations.  Asked if I was single or married.  I said I'm not interested.  She said, Please give me a minute to explain.  I said, I'm sorry, I'm not interested, please take me off of your calling list.  And she hung up.

Would like to know what calling center this is.  This is very rude and poorly ran.  I was a telemarketer as a teen and would be written up or fired if we said the company name and did not give a phone number even if the person we called hung up.  Ridiculous.

These people are fun to mess with..... I answered the phone after reading about them and thought.... Let's play with there heads.
In their indian accent.. I repeated back every word they said..... until it became vulgar, then I hung p. They quickly called back to which I answered in a deep voice.... "Sheriff's office" there was a pause and they hung up. Haven't called back since.

Same thing happened to me. He was trying to make up some wrap about a condo, then he got the "f" word involved. At the end, he said. "I'll give you something to lie about, give you something to cry about, especially after you talk." Which I perceive as a threat.

Got a call from this number. No response when I continued to say hello.

I had been selected to receive a discounted vacation.  Who would be traveling with me?  Was I married?  I told her I was on the do not call list.  The Federal List, she asked?  Yes, then she hung up.

I got a call from this number. The woman said she was calling from Florida and I had been selected to receive a free vacation. At this point I interrupted to tell her that I'm on the DO NOT CALL Registry and she was breaking Federal law by calling me. She apologized and said that they use pre-screened calling lists but that sometimes "a number slips through." I hung up.

Have received at least two calls per day, never anyone there when I answer.  These are on my cellphone using valuable minutes during peak time.

have received calls every 3rd day from this number 701-920-9675; they won't provide company name, and when asked how they obtained my number (which has an out-of-state area code), I was told that I "must have participated in one of their timeshares," which of course I hadn't.  I told the person that I wasn't interested, and to please stop calling (have done so twice thus far, and they just called again today).  found this listing and now I see that I'm not alone.  am filing complaint with national do-not-call registry, suggest everyone else do the same.

Answered the phone and no one was there.

Just received a call.  No one there.  Silence.

Another update... a search on intellus indicates this number is cellular and is registered to Nextel, although I'm not sure how accurate the search results are.  I would encourage people to report this number to the National Do Not Call registry (just google it) and file a complaint as I have.  The more people that file a complaint, the better the chance that this scam can be stopped.  Note that if your number is not registered with the Do Not Call registry, you'll need to register first, then submitt a complaint.

I've been receiving calls from this number for a little over a month now.  They never leave a voice message.  I've set my phone to auto reject the calls so it doesn't bother me, but interestingly enough, I received a call from them today (2/18/11) and there was a voice message that was cut off.  The caller said, "this is a collect call...", then the message stopped.  I have no clue if this is a scam, a debt collector or what, but it's time to investigate further...

Received call, answered, and after about 6-8 seconds of dead air, I heard someone having a side conversation until I said "Hello?" again.  The same initial questions/comments were mentioned as before, but after I told him the 2nd or 3rd time that I was at work, and that I wasn't interested, he gave a prominent sigh, and then said "have a good day, sir."  

I hate getting calls like this.  Ugh!

This phone number comes up on my cell phone several times a week.  When I answer there is no one on the other line.  I can see by the other posts...this is some sort of marketing or other scam.  Others be careful.  They never leave a message.
