Just listed a car on auto trader so I'm sure this phone number was wanting to sell their service

Rec'd a recorded message from 702-220-6925 a few days after listing a vehicle for sale on Kijiji-Calgary. After listening for a few short seconds, I hung up.

call from 702-220-6925, no one answers, no message left. This is after I posted an ad on autotrader.

Listed car on Craigslist now getting calls from scammers. calls so far are 1-702-220-6925, 1-424-646-1896, 1-714-829-6750,1-702-221-1641 plus unknow callers.
It looks like Craigslist is a scammers hang out. I check every number and they all show up as a scammer or someone who wants to get rich with out working.

Its a company that want your information pretending to sell your car, they will e mail you and call you, pour dumb people trying to make a quick buck sad but truth, get our lazy as..... an  get a decent job.

I have my vehicle for sale on Kijiji and autotrader, glad to know why they are calling as I never answers calls I don't know. Beyond disgusting people trying to take advantage of everything these days, it's hard enough for me to sell my vehicle, because I love it, but I'm a student now and it's not in the budget. I wish these scammers would just leave people be.

Same here. Van on craigslist. Also got a call from a California area code, so watch out.

Vehicle was listed on Craigs list 2 days ago and now they are calling but not leaving messages

If you advertise a higher priced item, such as a vehicle, on kijiji, you can expect the s____ artists, one identified as Justin P. who will tell you a marvelous story of how they can broker a sale of your vehicle, as they have a list of qualified buyers. They require a fee of course, to provide the introduction to these
nameless buyers. One number that they use is 1-888-978-2270, among others.

After the initial contact is made, and a few days go by, the automated call processor pegged as 1-702-220-6925 will call the number on your kijiji ad. All the time. This is absolutely a scam, but inside of the law statues. No crime to ask for money to help sell something. These "brokers" are not accredited and must be reported to CRA [Canada Revenue Agency] for a full protological tax audit. Could be part of a broader identity theft ring. Just ask them to provide a sales vendor license, GST /PST registrant number, dealer reg number etc.
Try to record the converstion .

Posted a Motorcycle on kijiji and got calls from this, some marketing company wanting to sell my bike. Anoying.

Posted a couple of motorcycles on Craigslist... same as everyone else in this thread.  They didn't leave a message.

I posted my Porsche on craigslist and this company won't stop calling me.  I called back to see who it was and it was some marketing company that would feature my car on youtube, hundred of car for sale sites out there and elevate its search rankings.  Sounds like a company that just wants my $$$.  I bet they'll just take your money and run.  Stay away!

Placed an add on Craigs List and RV Trader, and got phone calls. They left no message.

Same thing with me, I got a call with no message and I to have a vehicle for sale on line

Same as all the rest; car listed on craig's list and recieved an unsolicited call from this number with no message.

One of a few different numbers that showed up on my cell and didn't leave a message.  After reading
the other postings, I know now that it pertains to my CraigsList listing to sell our car.  Thanks again

call from 702-220-6925. I couldn't tell who it was, but I too had a call on craigslist just this past weekend, and NOT in that area code.

'One Stop Motors' trying to sell my car which is listed on Craigs List. under another # with the last didgit different... Strange...
