I recieve the same letter yesterday, and I knew that it had to be a catch to this letter it was to good to be true. If you
won money why do you have to pay money.

I ALSO GOT THIS SAME LETTER AND I GOT ON THE INTERNET TO CHECK IT OUT AND MY GUT FEELING WAS RIGHT SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SENDING MONOPOLY MONEY AND ASK FOR MY CHANGE PLEASE! BUTT-HOLES!

Is this company that I  recieved a letter from actually legit or scam.

The Address is nothing more than a PO Box at the UPS Store. The suite number is only a PO BOX. Sorry but there are many using this UPS store for scams. Google the address without the suite number and you will find it is only a UPS store that sells PO Boxes to people.

Call the FBI and the FTC.  I trust NO ONE! I tell my husband this all the time. I have never been scammed, and I feel I never will because I ask too many questions, and read between the lines.

With the internet and so many other ways that you can check a person, I am surprised that these scammers still try to SCAM!!!!!

Reporting a call from 202-241-8209

Yes, and watch out for a guy by the name of Allex Smith, calling from (202)-241-8209. Also claiming I won a cash prize. Mine was supposed to be for $5 million. Faxed me some documents, with a facimile check showing the Better Settlement Headquarters at the 5015 W. Sahara Ave. Las Vegas address on it!  These scammers are pitiful. Get a real job, and stop trying to scam others!

Things to remember:
You can't win, if you didn't play
You should never have to send any fees, to obtain a prize won
What FTC (Federal Trade Commission) employee works on the weekends making calls to homes stating you won a prize?!
Never give out any of your personal numbers.  I gave my DL# just to get the ball rolling a bit to see where this jerk was coming from. (That was no different than showing my license to a police officer).

Do your homework. I looked up this Headquarters on-line, I contacted the FTC, and I contacted the FBI. So beware jerk!

I to received a letter saying i won $612,444,89. Watch out don't get suckerd into sending the $26.95 because the whole thing is bogus.

I receive a letter stating that I won $612,444.89 but in order to receive it I must send $26.96 for assessment & processing fee.

My husband got the same letter saying he could get over $2k is he sent in $25. Having being scammed before I researched it and found nothing good about this company. Every website was about how this is a scam. I'm glad I looked it up this because he was actually thinking of doing it. I have gotten to the point that if they want me to send money to get money, then forget it.

I got the same letter today 3-8-2011 they are still out there why don't. The police or someone do something about this.

I received the same letter last week. I really appreciate all of you for letting people know that this is not a real company. I really wish the FBI and Secret Service would investigate these people and make them pay everyone that they have lied to. Wait there is one thing they did not get from me and that is money. So there I thought this was real.Some one needs to report them. This is not right to rip off the nation, we are the people that can do something about it. I`m so sad now because now I have live another cold winter and another hot summer. And get this, I`m disabled.

Well, I recieved the letter in the mail and said that I have won 612444.89. I was so happy about that and was thinking I can fix my house up. I have been going without heat this pass winter thinking. But I called them and they said I have wait for one year and then they will send the checks out. well the year was up. And I called them back, now they say said the check will be in the mail but it will take 4-8 weeks.Here it is going on 3 months.

hey i just received letter i won a $9,000.000 money from sweepstakes and thay asked me to pay $27.98 for processing of documents omg! i even call the ph# they wrote me and the lady dont give me their fax number.please is this a scam? need to know before i get too far with these people

I RECEIVED THE SAME LETTER ALL OF YOU GOT BUT FOR ALMOST $500K SO I'M GOING TO SEND THEM THERE MONEY ALRIGHT.....I'M SENDING THEM A 500 DOLLAR BILL OUT OF MY SON'S MONOPOLY GAME WITH A NOTE ATTACHED THAT WILL READ "KEEP THE CHANGE YA FILTHY ANIMALS"!!!!!! I got one bout 2 months ago.found out it was a rip off from NY City.Sent the letter back saying i got friends in NY and they would visit them if they bothered me again.Just a visit mind you.
I got a 2nd 0ne just today from vegas,different Name same deal send a check for a few dollars for thousands,yeah right.I'll b headin to vegas in a few,think i'll write to them,say i'll stop by,probly find a bunch of weeds in a fild.

I received a letter from american super award payout.

i got the same letter last year,,and i didnt send no money,,but i called their bluff!! and kept calling them to ask where my winnings were at?? (i knew it was a scam,just wanted to put them on the spot),so they told me they would process my check(my supposedly winnings) that day,which was 7-14-09..ok,they said i would recieve a check in the mail,,and i recieved a check for 79 cents,,and its not legal,,because they said it would be anywhere from $1.00 to $9,000 (yea right!) and the other obvious thing,,is they said the check was just processed on 7-14-09,,but its dated for 6-30-09,,and says pay to the bearer,,not me,(my name)which tells me it was laying around,,so i will pursue reporting this,,and i wont stop calling them,,they figure people will just forget about it,and go away,,will im not gonna,,

I am very angery, too many people are getting rip off for there to be nothing anyone can do about it, including myself. My husban receives anywhere between 5 to 10 letters a day saying he a winner. It's unforunate we didn't do a little invesagating before we got caught up in these scames. Now these people from Las Vages to Jamaca are blowing up our phone. If there's anyone out there that can tell me what to do or how I can help to put a end to this, please share your information with the thousands of people I'm sure are sick and tired of justing loosing their money.

I got the same letter but my winnings was $456, 389. 00  I received the letter on 6-9 -09 asking me to send $27.67 . I called (702)220-9117 and it just until I hungup  BIG SCAM.
