Top Positions or webfetti.com contacted one of my clients claiming to be interested in the product line I supply to this client. My client called them back thinking it was a lead for her. She talked with the rep "Emily" & told my client they found her from a internet list selling my companies product line. My client instantly knew that this wasn't true but was given the biggest sales pitch ever. Be alert to this company and how they try to make sales claiming to be part of your company!Caller ID: 702-425-5878
Caller: Top Positions or webfetti.com

I have received four or more calls from this number in
Sept. alone.
I have asked to be removed, but they keep calling on my 800#
pretending to have an interest in my business.
If anyone knows how to get them to stop calling, please post
info.

Hi, I'm Byron and I'm calling about working on United. I was over on your website. I had a couple of questions for you. Okay. Give me a call. My number is 87769437267 over at extension 1. If you have an awesome day. Bye bye.

Hi,
Me too...I just signed up and now I am about to panic with all this negative information. I don't understand how something like this can be happening and yet the site looks so professional and they seem like they are the real thing. I bought two keywords for $1,500. They are supposed to be sending a FedEx Truck for it tomorrow. I suppose that I am doomed to have to pay. Oh well, my credit is shot anyway. I can always change my bank account number tomorrow morning, call fedex with the number to cancel the truck and take it from there to expect them to contact me. Oh well, I can always also change my phone number. What in the world did I get into?

I got a call from these people at Toppositions.org , and they successfully sold me via high-pressure sale on their services to buy a keyword for $800. After signing their electronic contract, without noticing that there is no cancellation and that there may be collection fees, I signed up. Not 30 minutes later I found all types of bad reviews on the net about these people, and facts like Toppositions.org has an F rating with the BBB and they have been running under over 10 different business names in the past years. Also, I have found and contacted 3 different people who have used their services, and they wish they never did business. One lady said more than 2 months had gone by and only got 179 hits to her site.
I tried to cancel with them, but they sent me to Accounting and the guy's job there is to send me to collections and to tell me I'll be paying another $1200 on top of the $800 in court fees, and I will have to agree to pay the $800 by the end of the day if I don't want it to go to collections.
Nomatter what happens I'm not sending any money. I need legal help or information as to what I should do now. Any help will be appreciated.

Seems to be a theme here. Received a message from Top Positions 702-425-5878. Message is "Hi this is Bethany. I was on your Arbonne site and had a few questions about your business. So please call me back at 877-694-3726 ext 1.
Glad I came across this website....seems to occur every year, although I'm not actively working my business

Got 2 calls from Anne-Marie. I never called back since the only Anne-Marie I know does not speak english. She never left any details about her call. This is a first clue for me. Thanks to all of your posting I will make sure not to call back and if they happen to reach me live, I will make sure to ask them to remove me from their list and then mention I will report them if they call again

Love it. Got a call from Bethany today wanted to talk about my Arbonne business. Thanks everyone for your posts...I will not be returning her call :)

Got a call for an Amber, she wanted me to call her back about sending clients my way. Told me to call back on 877-694-3726 ext 1. My question is, how are they aloud to call when I am on the telemarketing "do not call" list
Te 2009-08-07 23:52:20 Unknown
Scam! Just got a messgae from this number1-702-425-5878...It was Ann Marie this time. The # she asked me to call back was toll free 877 694 3726.
Her tonality was such a scam one, her voice like a machine not a human.Too superficial!
She wanted me to call back...because she was so impressed with my loss of 6 sizes of body fat, which she read about on my website http://www.teresa.herbalcoach.com
I know it's a solicitation telemarketing call and they want me to go ahead and "do something". They are not really interested in losing 6 sizes of body fat that I did: that I heard from her tonality of voice.

I received a call from "Mike Edwards" who said he was calling about my business. He left an "877" number but my caller ID identified the number as 702-425-5878. Top Positions are clearly trying to sound like customers to get callbacks.
I LOVE the 800notes site!

It from an internet scammer Top Positions who claims to help you increase traffic to your web site. They are very slick and trys to show you how you can get your web page on top of the internet search engines. They even show you a BBB A+ rating. But this rating is not theirs, when you check their BBB rating, it shows a F. Do not sign up or even talk to them. If you sign up they will try to get a full payment immediately. Once they get your money it is gone, and forget about getting any service from them. If you try to withold payment, they will threaten to ruin your credit and hassle you with a debt collection. I can not stress strongly enough for anyone to stay away from these people!!!!!

got the same message from bethany about arbonne.

"Stephanie" called me from 702-425-5878 and left a message stating she found me through my Arbonne website and had some questions for me. Same story as posts above; moral of the story is don't answer a number you don't recognize.

Got this call five minutes ago on my cell phone - No message left! Have no idea who or what it was about until I came across 800Notes. What a cool site to use! Thanks

Caller ID says Blair Cedric with the phone number 702-425-5878. Message said, "Hi this is Bethany. I was on your Mia Bella Candle site and had some questions for you. So please call me back at work at my toll free number XXXX extension 1", etc.... definitely someone selling or scamming people.

I'm glad I've gotten enough of these that I looked it up first. What a time waster it would have been calling back. They're apparently culling names from legitimate web sites. The message left was what is stated above, "This is Bethany, blah blah blah" and she left the 877-694-3726 ext 1 number. Scamming jerks.
TW 2009-06-27 23:31:30 Unknown
Got call yesterday from Byron and it sounded fishy...mainly b/c the called id has this number as posted and then he tells me to call another toll-free number. I didn't bother.
ElleB 2009-06-26 17:25:19 Unknown
Yep, I just got the same call from Amber. I thought she was wanting information on my business, Stella & Dot. Looks like she is telemarketing. I'm glad I found this site. I won't be calling back, either.

Same as others: Company name is Top Positions. "Bethany" called and left a msg saying she had some questions about my MLM website. It was obvious telemarketing call, loud call center noise in background, "Bethany" sounded very perky, very pushy, and more than a little deceptive as to her intentions in her voicemail. Asked me to call her back "at work" at her toll-free number (877-694-3726 extension 1).

Thanks for the feedback, Chris. Love your hilarious post. There are a lot of misinformed people out there that do not really know how search engines work, so they prey on it.
As a Real Estate Broker/Owner, I get tons of these emails and direct calls. One time I had a "Manager" call me directly on my cell saying that he had a buyer referral for me that's relocating to my city. I let him talk for awhile and then did his pitch about how it only costs $1500/month to get my name on their website where thousands of buyers visit.
I quickly check his site while I was on the phone with him and using my tool, I can see that his site was only 4 months old. And then the clincher. He says go to google and type "I need a Realtor" without the quotes. He states that they are naturally #1 for that keyword. And to notice that they are on top of the results. So I quickly told him that I see that they paid the highest on Google adwords just so they can be on top and I even mentioned to him that the choice of keywords are useless anyway. All I hear in the background is a giggle and moments later they hang up.
Sorry for the long message. Never got a chance to mention this story.
Take care.
Marc
