This guy called stating he was investigating me and that I'm looking at 6 months in jail for check fraud and won't even send me paper work in the mail saying so SCAM!!!!!!!!

I got this same message. Investigator William Chase, calling from L.A., CA but wanting me to return their call in Nevada. Said there were criminal charges against me for check fraud. Ummm no! If there was check fraud my BANK would notify me, not some guy in a state I've never been to! Nice try! I had this same call earlier this year and now about 8 months later I get it again. I would love to know how they got my cell number!

I just received a call from a woman named Tina Rogers stating I owe a company over $3000 and they are going to have my drivers license suspended. She also stated she has an arrest warrant issued and I will spend 82 days in jail if I do not pay in 24 hours. I called Nevada Attorney General office to file a complaint against this company. I do not live in Nevada and why would my own state where I live take care of this if I did anything wrong. Says she is a Sr. Paralegal with the warrant division...seriously.

I just received a call about an arrest warrant being sent out for somebody (not me). Call came from Nevada, and I don't even live in the state of Nevada. Why would this number be calling?

Just like everyone else above me has posted, this sounds like a scam!

Got a call and voicemail today from 702-425-8836. The message stated that the call was from an investigator named William Chase. He needed to speak to me regarding criminal check fraud charges that were to be filed against me. I just ignored the message since I think this is a bogus scam.

got a call from a lady indicating she was calling from 708-425-8836 Clark County Nevada for the United States Dept of Justice and officer Jeffrey Williams is handling a case against me for a class H felony and i have until 5 pm to call back with a reference number?
Eye opener there's was another man with a heavy accent indicating he was from the FTC federal trade commission and you can hear all the other people in the background.  Where I live we have the state attorney office and local police department for any felony or criminal issues. why would NEVADA be calling in Florida talking about a case when we have local authorities here..don't GIVE out any information to there THREAT.

Gentleman talking super fast stating they will suspend my DL's and seek criminal charges if I don't call them back. I have no idea how they even got my name and number!!!
