Got a similar 702 message and found this post. They r still at it!

i gotta call from this number sayin i won a free vacation wtf then i called back justa voice mail

getting frequent calls,no message left

charged to my phone bill ....what the f*&^? I never called these b*****ds

Got a call from this number and now i have a charge for .63 on my bill.  Why is this charged to my phone bill any idea?  Why would i call this number back?


please let me know if anyone got charged for this?

I received a call AGAIN & decided to investigate the CONSTANT hang ups.  So, I called back w/ a machine picking up, but NO COMPANY NAME, NO PERSON's NAME, nothing.  Just leave a message.

I think that next time I will stream into their ear as that is EXACTLY what they deserve!

I found it very annoying that I already subscribe to call privacy (Bell Canada) and yet this company's annoying automated calls (a vacation scam) still got through.

When I contacted Bell to complain, they showed me how to block this caller using the Call Screen function (part of my package). If a the last caller is one of those "private number" or "Unknown Caller" types, you can use Call Screening to add the last number who called you to the block list. True, you can only add 12 such numbers, but it was worth it to avoid this one.

Previously we got numerous hangups from this number and worse were the long annoying messages stating that we had won a vacation, and all we needed was a credit card to claim our "prize" -- what a scam!

For Bell Canada subscribers, here's the link to their PDF manual, which explains the process for blocking similar annoying callers. Hopefully other area phone companies have comparable features. i've asked my phone company to consider making automatic blocking of unknown names and private callers to the call privacy function.

Got a call from this number today at about April 12,2007 1215pm eastern time.  Answered it and the prerecorded voice told me that I won a trip but required my credit card number For some reason.  These are thieves that make money on peoples ignorance and stupidity.  Hope poeple don't give them a credit card number they will max your card and you will have to paid the bill.  But if you do read this call the credit card compony and tell them you lost the card.  You may get it in time before they make a charge.. these people should be #@$%^&@(@)).

My caller I.D shows this number has called four times in the past week. No message left. Will be home the next couple of days so we'll see if they call again. Have no idea how they got my number?

3 pm central, phoned it back and it wanted me to leave a message, no identifier

"Congratulations you have won an all exclusive trip to.... please press one to be connected with an operator" Ha ha ha ha~  I reside in Canada and have received this call MANY times - Thanks to this website I now know to add it to my blocked callers list

Received the call at 10:15 am mst. Something about a vacation and I needed to be 25 with a major credit card. Called back and got answering machine. Left nasty message. Hopefully, they don't call back.

claiming you had to be over 25 years old and have a valid credit card to confirm your resevation
i called back it says to leave a message

Recieved call at 0900, I didn't answer as I work night shift. No message left. It was from the same number.

Got the call on Tuesday think I have received call before. This is a pain.

I got a call from this number this morning at 9:56 a.m.  They did not leave a message.  I have been receiving several calls a day from thus number and they never leave a message.

rang once and then hung up.  Not sure how he got my cell number.

I got it today, and it was a recording about a free vacation, it named two destinations but said they wouldn't provide airfare. I wish these losers would realize how annoying and genuinely stupid this is.

Hi I'm from Brampton, ONT and I have received a call from the above # at 2:20 this afternoon. The area code is from Las Vegas.... Looks like they're just hittin us Canadians.

I got a call from this number at 1:55pm today, I live in Whitby, Ontario.  My machine answered and no message was left.  I too am registered on the Do Not Call List and have been for quite some time (I keep renewing it periodically).  So they must be ignoring the rules.

Just had this call @ 3:30pm on my home phone. Didn't answer and they left no message. So very annoying.
