I've received 50+ phone calls from this service; and have received an email with proposal.  When I asked to be removed from the call list, the conversation went to a new level-- very nasty.  I've filed a complaint with the do-not-call program.

These people are selling extended warranties on cars.

Keep getting call to renew my expired auto warranty... dont have a car and rquested my name be removed fourtimes but still keep gettin at least one call per day.

They call my cell number... makes me sick...

I love these phone calls - I usually tell the person that if they can tell me what my name is, then I will talk to them.  Not a one has yet.  I think that pressing "2" to be removed is kinda like replying to spam - it just confirms that your phone number is a valid one with a live body at the other end and encourages them to keep calling.

ARRGG!!!  Usually, I get this same call (not sure if it's the same #) on my home phone, but today I received a call on my cell phone.  I have tried repeatedly to have my information removed from their calling list but before I get a chance to finish my request or even say anything really, I am hung up on.  *sigh*  I can't imagine that these people are very effective at selling their "mystery product" to anyone when you can't really talk to the person without being cut off.  Sigh, makes no sense to me.  But, there it is.  If anyone figures out a way to get them to stop calling, SHARE IT!!

I have been getting calls on my cell and home phone from these people using various outgoing numbers.  They've called my cell enough times that its looking to be worth suing them ($500 a violation).

Can someone confirm their corporate name for the small claims paperwork?

I'm in the middle of the meeting and i got this f.....g call in my cell from this number. How can we stop these m.....r  f.....s? The same number keep on calling my private line in the office.

I have a cell phone with a Northern California area code (even though I have moved from the area).  Just got a call from this number which I did not answer (and they left no message), then I googled the number and found this site.  Thank you internet watchdogs!!  Power to the people!

I just got a call on my cell.  I did talk to a person by pressing 1.  She kept asking for personal information.  I told her they called me so they should know, then she hung up.  I do not advise letting this go to voicemail.  Then they know your name.

These guys have called me a number of times and I wanted to play with them a little bit. Usually if you ask a few questions, they hang up on you.

First, this block of phone numbers comes from Digicom Services, which provides 'disposable' phone numbers to scam artists like these guys.  Their information is:

I spoke with Chris Georger.  They were good enough to offer me a three year extended warranty on my (make-beleive) car (2003 Chevy Impala LS) for $2995 ($495 of it up front, 208.33 a month).  Even if they weren't in a boiler room somewhere in Orange County, CA, that is about half the trade-in value of the car today, much less in three years when the warranty is supposed to end.  He told me that I could find the contract information at www.royaladmin.com but none of the information emailed to me has Royal Admin on it anywhere, which makes me question whether or not they are actually affiliated.  

The email they sent me comes from mail@directprotectwarranty.com.  There is a website for directprotectwarranty.com,  I tried calling the toll-free that is on the website (which is differnt than the number Chris gave me)  When I asked for Chris Georger, I did get connected, so at least they are keeping that part of their story straight.  Nowhere on the website is there any location information - no names, no addresses...  a Whois search of the domain is privacy protected.

A Google search of directprotectwarranty is kinda interesting:  There is a Google posting for MemorialCare Health Centers looking for Extended Warranty Reps.  I am afraid to ask what kind of extended warranty a hospital would be trying to sell, but my guess is that someone posted the job using a hacked Monster account.

The posting had a phone number 714-415-7500 - Googling this number comes back with a number of interesting businesses in Orange County, CA like 'Morgage Bang' (really).  Calling this number gets you a very helpful receptionist at C1F Marketing, another one of these awesome virtual companies with a website and a phone number, but no contact information, no street address, and a privacy hidden.  C1F Marketing styles itself as a 'Voice Broadcasting' company (read: 'Robo-Telemarketing').  The receptionist didn't know who Chris Georger was.

Okay, seriously, if this didn't look like a scam before, it really does now.  This information will go to the appropriate consumer protection agencies of my home state and California.

And yes, I really did give them the name Bartholomew Simpson - maybe they can sell me a warranty on my skateboard...  !Ay Carrumba!  It was hard not to giggle when they kept calling me Mr. Simpson.

They say 'car warrantee offer' They have called repeatedly over several months, I have pressed 2 twice, but it does no good.

I received a call and my car is brand new and a lease so there is no possible way my warranty can be close to an end. Lease warranty's are guaranteed throughout the entire lease of the vehicle. Also I would not recommend calling back because I would assume the dealer would call about things of this nature and not some random number.

receiving calls on my business cell from this numbe about a car warranty. my car is brand new, and nowhere near the end of its warranty. Has to be some sort of scam. My bf says he receives calls from the same number on his home phone.

Called my cell phone 2 hours ago and left a message (which uses up my minutes) about this being the final offer about a car warranty.  I called back a few minutes ago to see who would answer and got a recording apologizing if the call was made in error and saying to press 1 if I wanted to be taken off their calling list.  The 702 area code, by the way, is in the Las Vegas, Nevada area and I live in Texas.

Indeed, I tried speaking with a representative - calmly asking if he could promise that I'd not receive a call again - and he hung up.

these f****rs just called me on my CELL PHONE!!  yesterday they called me on my home number.  This time, as an earlier poster said, they told me this was the last time they would call.  I probed with some personal questions and they hung up.

ITS A SCAM and pressing 2 does not remove you from their call list despite what they say.

its a warranty call that promises that this is the last time that they will offer this opportunity.  If only!!
