They called me and didn't even know what credit cards I had and when he said my credit cards were in excess of $3500 and I said they may not be, he hung up. I would have not fallen for anything but I hope no one else does.

I got the call yesterday from (702) 520-1392.  After only a few words I recognized this as the scam where they try to alarm you about coming higher interest rates on your credit cards.  At about this point you've got to know that the next thing that's going to happen is they're going to ask you for your credit card number so they can "protect" your account against thatt higher interest rate.

By the time you start getting a sick feeling that you've probably been been scammed and you scramble to put a hold on your account these low-lifes will have had ample time to charge at least a few thousand dollars on your credit card.

I just received an automated message that said they wanted to lower my interest rate.  Press 1 to speak to someone.  When I did, they said they were calling about lowering my credit card interest, but they wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor and then hung up.

I didn't answer because I'm on "Do Not Call" list and didn't recognize number.  But got message.
Obvious SCAM!!!
Recording from So-and-so with "account services" about my "credit card account".  This was my "Last chance to lower my interest rate to 6.9% or lower".  "Press 1 to speak to rep or press 2 to be removed from list" - puh-lease!  1 is to talk to actual live scammer and 2 is to simply confirm that your number is a valid one so they can sell it to other scammers.
I really wish I could walk into their place of "business" - I'd love to meet these "people" face to face.
Scammer Scum!!!!!!

People, the company calling you is American Debt Negotiators (if you spoke with a person and they had a Spanish or an Indian accent), or it was IXE Accelerated Financial Services if they did not have a foreign accent.

The number that appeared on your Caller ID was illegally spoofed (which is why you can never call it back) and will not cause any action to be taken if you use it to file a complaint with the authorities (but using their real identity will).

Please go to the web site www.heatherwithaccountservices.com and get the information you need to report them and the links for online complaint forms with the authorities.  This site is having a tremendous impact on these criminal telemarketers that is building up to an imminent bust by a joint force of several state attorneys general offices and federal law enforcement agencies (all of whom read information posted on the aforementioned site and use it in building their case).  The scammers tried to get the site shut down, have threatened the site's admin yet still have had to move their call centers around and modify their telemarketing script (but not any of their illegal practices) because of the heat being generated against them by that web site.

Just got a call today from this number to lower my credit rate. When I clicked "1" to speak to a live person, they asked ME which credit card I was going to lower and told me it had to be one with a min of $3500 on it. Suspicious, I let the indian man keep talking...he asked me to verify info THEY should have already knew if they were liget and since they didnt so I hung up.

Got a call from 702-520-1392. Caller ID said "TN Removal." Being on the "Do not call list," I pushed 1 to get as much information as possible. A man identified himself as "Omar" started to talk. I asked him his company name. "Visa-Mastercard services."
"Do you work for Visa or Mastercard?"
"Yes"
"What is the name of your company?"
"Why are you asking me so many questions?"
"I have no idea who you are."
"I am a person."
"Where are you located?"
"Orlando, Florida"
(For the record, when you look up 702 area code in google, it says Nevada)
"Can I speak with your manager?"
"No"
At which point, I made a loud noise into the phone. Perhaps if we all started to do this, you know, "press one" to get a live body, then blast the phone with a loud noise, it might discourage this kind of call. It might even discourage people from wanting to work these calls. Just a thought . . .

Got a call today, big pause before someone spoke, then said he could get me "lower interest rates on ALL my credit cards." I asked "how could you be representing ALL the companies with whom I have CC's?" He said "I represent B of A, Wells Fargo and other major banks."  I said, give me your phone number and I will call you back tomorrow."  He hung up.  He sounded Indian.  There was a lot of hissing and clicking on the phone line, so I suspected it was from overseas, but I see that 702 area code is in Nevada.

I receive so many phone calls from these type of "businesses" (more than I receive from people I actually know)...and I am on the do not call registry...I keep blocking these numbers on my phone but it seems like they just keep changing their numbers and keep on calling me. On the rare occasion I do answer the phone, they never ask for me, they always ask for someone I've never heard of. I don't use credit cards (if I can't pay cash for it, I don't need it) and I'm seriously contemplating cancelling my phone line.

Got a call and didn't recognize the out of state number and don't have any reason to have something called TN Removal calling me.  They hung up as soon as the answering machine kicked in.  I always let unknown numbers go to the machine to see who they are and what they want.  Glad I did and glad I checked this website!  Thanks, everyone, for letting us know.

I just received a call from Card Services on caller ID. They did not leave a message.  I never had a call from them before, however, I just bought a new car two days prior....it makes one wonder if the Dealership or someone is selling names and home phone numbers.

Called this morning, 4/11/2010.  We've had them call numerous times in the past several years, so I always push 1 to talk to a live operator, of course, after I start my 'message' they always hang up.  Just what is it they are trying to accomplish?  We don't have credit cards or car warrenties and when my husband acted interested to find out what they were trying to pull, they told him they would send info in the mail, but as far as I know, nothing came.  So, just what kind of scam are they trying to pull?

At almost 9am on the dot, I received a call from this number with a male speaking in a n Indian accent wanting to know if I wanted to "reduce the interest rate on my VISA/Mastercard accounts". I went along with it realizing that they called me and not I calling them and was very suspicious. First he only wanted the experiration dates of the cards and seemed to confirm it by saying his computer agrees and then wanted the numbers on the account. I told him I was uncomfortable with giving out the account numbers and since he had it, to read me the numbers he had on HIS computer. He would not do that and that for security reasons, he would not ask for the security code on the back. Who needs that? I've purchased many things without giving that out. I hung up!

I have received numerous calls from these crooks. The latest one this morning (4/9/10) at 9;00 AM. As I had done previously I told them I knew they were not a legitimate company and wanted my name removed from their calling list. I am certain I will be receiving another call from these crooks. They seem to just ignore what I am telling them and continue calling me.
