Call received, no message left.  Phone is registered on DNC list.....prepaid cell.....will not take calls from numbers that I don't know

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

This number has called me 12 times in the last 2 days including once after 10pm. They never leave a voice mail and its just dead air when I answer.

GOT CALL FROM # 702-520-2335  IT WAS A RECOREDING MESSAGE ABOUT SOME DRUG FOR HEART/KIDNEY ISSUES ????????? SCAM!

I have been alot of call lately from unknown numbers without any one of the line. I believe that this is a technique to determine the likelihood that I will pickup.I think these calls are robocalls. The data might be sold to scam artists who want someone to answer their subsequent call.

Call came through last night on my cell. Didn't answer. Comes up as from Las Vegas, NV. Let it go to VM. No msg left.

I'm on the do not call list,  But I keep getting these type of calls!  I pay by the minute on my cell phone,  so  It costs me every time,  Also it interupts my sleep as I work nights.

Call rec'd 1/23/2013 at 9:41am. Recorded voice says it is a "Consumer Protection Advocacy Group ... press 1 if you have health/medical problems or complications associate with the use of Yaz or Yasmin ..." [Seems to follow the same pattern as TV commercials and/or random junk emails looking for people to join lawsuit.] Problem is .... my number is on Fed & State DNC list and this is a random call offering unsolicited services.
I've never used these products and have no associated health issues ... it's certainly not anything I have a "prior relationship" about ... and clearly violates multiple telemarketing regulations.  Attempt to call # back resulted is a 'fast busy' and no connection.  Report to FTC; Nevada Public Service & Washington (state) regulators.  (See post by JD for links ... thanks for the leg-work!)

Had a voicemail which seemed to be a snippet of a spam recording about financial compensation.

I got a call this morning from this number at 10:15didnt aswer the call they didnt leave a message but when I tried returning the call it made like a bdusy signal sound and hung up on me
