Got a phone call on Black Fri (sadly I have to work today) from a number 520-423-0659, claim that my low credit card interest rate (6.99%) will expire soon and if I want to talk to a live representative, press 1. So I press 1 and talked to a guy named Fred Tewart, with thick accent. He asks some common questions like if you ever pay credit card late, etc and ask me to confirm my credit card number. It was stupid and I gave to him along with, the exp date of card, my zipcode and my name. He somehow know the balance on my card and said I am qualified for low credit card interest and will transfer me to a finical specialist. He even gave me his ID # (571) and ext (211) to make him sounds legit.

While I was waiting on the line, I got suspicious and hand up. 20 min later, another guy called me from 702-520-5274, said to lower my credit card interest. I told him that I am busy and he kind got mad at me said Fred called me 2 min ago and you didn't seem busy. I said I was at work and things came up. Can I have your number and call you back. He then said if I call them back it will be long distance phone call. What time he can call back. I told him after 5 pm. This increase my suspicious and I then call my credit card company immediately and freeze my account and get a new card. I then blocked these two numbers on my cell phone.  I doubt I lost any money but I had to wait for couple days for my new card to do Xmas shopping.

Be careful with those type of phone calls and do not fall for that. Credit card company don't normally call you like that to lower your interest. It is the time of the year that people spent a lot on their credit card (especially on line) and have higher chance that their card info get stolen. Hope this would help others.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

It was too good to be true. They tell you what you want to hear. Got a call from 310-506-4543, Limited time offer/Lower your Credit Card interest rate. So... I push 1 to continue, a Jim Roger"""" something from "Credit Card Services" fooled me into giving him my Credit Card information. And my 20 year checking account #  :(  i'm so... sad. Had to cancel both that night realizing it was a scam. I was in a hurry, at work, had to go to bank, etc. So after Jim got my info, then transferred me to Adam Clark to get my lower interest rate % i then told Adam i'm at work, have errands, have to drive (can't talk & drive), give me your # 866-505-6695 so i can call you back and we can finish the call. Ten minutes later i get another call from 702-520-5274 " didn't get guys name, from "Account Services". Told him i just talk to Adam 2 minutes ago, they guy was confused, said ok and hung up. Saturday 11/16/13 on way to police station and report all of this, "What a way to spend my only day off"

My wife received fraudulent phone calls from  562-421-2670, 310-822-3339, and 702-520-5274  numerous times ). They first claimed to be one of my credit card companies and offering to reduce my interest rate to 6.99% or less. They already knew all of my card numbers on the front of the two cards but lacked other security info of which they attempted to trick out of my wife. She gave some of it up before she wised up. I order to stop my accounts from fraudulent charges, I had to call my credit card company and freeze those accounts and change my numbers and info. The scammers apparently initially hacked my computer and obtained that credit card info during a recent on-line payment to that credit card company, then used that info to fool my wife.   I had to contact my credit card company to lock my account and change my numbers, info and get new cards.  Be careful and Never deal with this kind of company over the phone!

Received phone calls from  813-719-3787(9:02am today), 310-822-3339 (9:26am today),and 702-520-5274 (9:34am -10:27am 12 times ). They claimed to reduce my interest rate to 6.99% or less. But they didn't inform me that my credit card has to be closed down. I found it out at the last stage. I felt that I was tricked. But they already had a lot of my personal information. So I had to contact my credit card company to lock my account (9:23am). Be careful folks. Never deal with this kind of company over the phone!
